A Little Update on What I’ve Been Doing on My Blogging Break & Why I Don’t Want to Post About It

For the past few weeks, during my blogging break, I’ve been working on cleaning out my house. It was not the only thing I did during my break, but it is the activity that took up most of my free time. I have a lot of things in my house and it’s time to let a lot of them go. I wanted to do this major clean out of my house for many years, and I have been going through my things for years and getting rid of them, but that wasn’t enough. So, I’m committed to focus on cleaning out my house as much as possible whenever I have the time to do it.

Since this takes time, I haven’t been able to think of a lot of a lot of blog post ideas. Even if I have ideas, I don’t have the time and/or energy to work on them. Still, I’m thinking about things and wondering what direction I want to take my blog and posts towards.

During my clean out, I found many things I want to get rid of, but don’t want to talk about online. I just want to search through things, decide what to do with them, and actually do what I decide to do with them. I don’t want the added stress of explaining my reasons for my decisions online!

There are Too Many Camping Tents to Choose From….

Right now I am on a roll to do research into which camping tent I want to buy. I already mentioned in a previous post I want to buy either a tent or a canopy to enjoy my back yard… and to keep the bugs away. I still am very interested in buying a canopy, but after some thought, I think a better investment would be to purchase a tent first. That way I can use it as a tent and a canopy… if I buy the right tent!

I have been browsing different websites for affordable tents including Target and Amazon, but it seems my favorite tents are a part of Walmart’s Ozark Trail line of camping gear or are available at Walmart. Even though I know the kind of tent I am looking for, I am very surprised by how many tents there are to choose from!

The Search for Camping Gear for At Home Summer Fun

Summer is coming soon. I am both excited and nervous about summer this year. I am excited about the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Yet, I am nervous because I live in Arizona, where the temperatures are hot during the summer months.

Since this summer is a special one, I wanted to start preparing for it now before everything is either sold out or impossible for me to afford. I don’t need much, but I do need some camping equipment.

Roller Rabbit x Target Collection Favorites- Home and Outdoors

Out of all the categories the Roller Rabbit x Target collection has, one of my favorites is the home and outdoors category. It is also the category I will probably be purchasing something in the collection from.

The home and outdoors collection covers a wide range of products. They range from colored pencils to outdoor furniture to electronics to tableware. Everything has the Roller Rabbit designs used throughout the Target collection.

While picking things to feature in this post, I realized everything I picked ranged widely in price. The lowest priced items are a deck of cards and sticker pack for $5 each while the highest is a wicker patio table for $250. If you are interested in purchasing something small, practical, and useful from the collection, I would recommend browsing the home and outdoor category.

Please Note: All the items mentioned in this post are picked by my own personal taste and is based off what I saw online before anything is available to be seen and touched in person. All the photographs of the products are from Target’s free to download media pack on Target’s website. All the names of the items and it’s cost is taken from the listings from Target’s website.

Starting to Clean Out My Stuff Again After Letting My Pulled Muscles Heal

Last year, I pulled muscles while cleaning things out of my house. After deciding to continue cleaning, I quickly realized these pulled muscles were not ordinary pulled muscles. Yes, they were pulled muscles, but I pulled them really badly. So badly I couldn’t walk, bend down, or lift anything really heavy. My movement was limited, especially since I pulled muscles all over my body.

Once I realized this, I began to cut back on the amount of cleaning work I was doing. When that was too much for me, I began to clean less and less. After cutting back as much as I thought I could, I decided to just stop cleaning (Aside from normal home cleaning such as cleaning the bathroom, sweeping the floor, ect.) until my muscles healed.

This past weekend my muscles have healed enough for me to start cleaning again.

An Update on My Eczema and Allergies- January 2025

For the past few years, I’ve been focusing on improving my eczema and reducing the amount of allergens in my food. I’m happy to say that I’m doing much better! I’m not completely eczema free and I don’t have any food based allergic reactions anymore, but the constant swelling in my body due to my allergies has gone done a lot. Also, my skin is healing from the eczema.

There are a few reasons why this happened, but the main reasons are because of major changes to my diet, major changes to my lifestyle, and I found a body wash that works great for my skin.

The Closure of Sprinkles Cupcakes and How I Feel About It

If you haven’t heard, Sprinkles Cupcakes immediately closed all store locations and their cupcake ATMs. The last day all stores and cupcake ATMs were open was on December 31, 2025. You can read a news article about the closure of Sprinkles Cupcakes here. (The article is from ABC 15, an Arizona based ABC affiliate. It talks specifically about the Arizona Sprinkles Cupcakes location, but it gives a good, overall explanation about what is known about Sprinkle’s closure.)

Sprinkles Cupcakes was started by Candice Nelson. It opened in April 2005 in Beverly Hills, California. It was a very popular bakery that specialized in, as the name suggests, cupcakes. It had celebrity fans and created something called a “cupcake ATM”, which is a vending machine that would sell cupcakes after the bakeries closed for the day. Candice would eventually sell the business in 2012 to a private equity firm.

5 Things I’m Looking Forward to in 2026

Looking forward to 2026, I don’t have any major plans for the year. I decided not to make new year’s resolutions or make plans for 2026 due to other things going on in my life right now.

Even though I have no plans for 2026, I am looking forward to things in the new year. I already know at least ten things I’m excited for, so I picked five of them to mention in a post.

15 of the Happiest Things That Happened for Me in 2025
