Roller Rabbit x Target Collection Favorites- Home and Outdoors

Out of all the categories the Roller Rabbit x Target collection has, one of my favorites is the home and outdoors category. It is also the category I will probably be purchasing something in the collection from.

The home and outdoors collection covers a wide range of products. They range from colored pencils to outdoor furniture to electronics to tableware. Everything has the Roller Rabbit designs used throughout the Target collection.

While picking things to feature in this post, I realized everything I picked ranged widely in price. The lowest priced items are a deck of cards and sticker pack for $5 each while the highest is a wicker patio table for $250. If you are interested in purchasing something small, practical, and useful from the collection, I would recommend browsing the home and outdoor category.

Please Note: All the items mentioned in this post are picked by my own personal taste and is based off what I saw online before anything is available to be seen and touched in person. All the photographs of the products are from Target’s free to download media pack on Target’s website. All the names of the items and it’s cost is taken from the listings from Target’s website.

I Have a New Basil Plant!

A few months ago, I went shopping for my groceries. On that day, they had new plants available to purchase. Some of those plants were herbs.

I browsed them and liked how healthy they looked. I wanted to buy another basil plant for months, but I debated if I should purchase one again. I normally buy my plants from a Walmart I normally shop at, but for the past few years my plants have died due to issues with fungus and bugs. (I think it has to do with the location of the Walmart to nearby farm fields.) Since I have issues with these plants, and the grocery store had really nice, healthy plants, I decided to buy a basil plant from the grocery store.

My Basil Plant Update- Early July 2025

It’s been a while since I talked about the plants I’m growing in my house. I did mention I have a tomato plant that grew tomatoes in a previous post, but I want to talk about them in more detail. So, here we are!

Right now I have four plants. They are a tomato plant, a basil plant, a amaryllis, and a cactus. Right now they are all alive, but my basil plant is not doing so well. Since I’m worried about my basil plant, I decided to talk about it first.

I Have a New Tomato from My Tomato Plant!

I have happy news! I harvested my first tomato from my tomato plant!

Here it is!

My tomato plant was able to grow two tomatoes since I brought it home. This one is the first one to become ripe. I am having some problems with my tomato plant with bugs, but it is still growing, putting out blooms, and otherwise doing fine.

The plant I own was purchased from Walmart. The tomato plant is called “Patio” and is from Bonnie Plants. It will grow about 2 feet tall and is supposed to grow well in containers. The type of tomatoes it produces are not big, but are not like cherry tomatoes. They are more like slicing tomatoes, just smaller.

That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!

A New Tomato Plant, Bug Infestation, and Struggles With My Pesticide Allergies

Two weeks ago, I decided to bring home a tomato plant. It wasn’t a spontaneous purchase as I wanted to grow one for many years. Yet, I didn’t plan on purchasing one this year.

With this tomato plant, I now have four plants: An amaryllis, a cactus, a sweet basil, and the tomato plant. I’m really happy to own all four, but I did notice something really serious that happened to my plants: a bug infestation.

Planting a New Herb Rocket Sweet Basil

Last month, I found Herb Rockets are back in my local Dollar Tree. If you never heard of an Herb Rocket, (Or read my post about purchasing them) they are an easy way to grow herbs. There are two kinds of Rocket plant kits: Herb Rockets which grow herbs, and Flower Rocket, which grows flowers. I purchased two Herb Rockets, one sweet basil and the other parsley. Last month, I decided to try to plant the sweet basil Herb Rocket before the parsley.

I Bought New Herb Rockets to Plant This Year

Every spring, I think about planting new plants. I wanted to start growing herbs for a while, but every time I do, something goes wrong and the plants end up dying. Last year, I discovered the Herb Rocket at Dollar Tree. I didn’t know how it would work out, but I decided to buy myself one Sweet Basil to see how it worked out. The seeds ended up germinating, but didn’t last long before they died.

This year, after doing more research, I decided to give herb growing another try. This time, I decided to try to grow an Herb Rocket again. After shopping at the Dollar Tree, I purchased two Herb Rockets I wanted to try.

5 Plants I Want to Grow But Haven’t Been Able to Yet

It’s spring, which is the ideal time to begin to grow new plants. So far I’ve failed in growing all but two plants: An amaryllis bulb and a decorative cactus. I think my ability to grow these two plants is a major success for me. The cactus turns three this year and the amaryllis is 16 years old! Even though these plants are still alive and growing, I have failed in growing other plants.

Right now I’m trying another round of plant growing and so far I’ve been more successful than in a previous attempt. Even though it is doing well, I still wish I could grow certain plants in my home. Since I’m in the process of trying to grow plants again, I decided to list five of my top plants I want to grow but haven’t been able to yet.

Lego Botanical Sets and Why I Don’t Own One (But Still Like Looking at Them)

Last month, I found a display at Walmart for the Valentine’s Day themed Lego botanical sets. I took photos of the sets, as well as other sets I found for sale that day to remind myself of what my local store sells and how much they cost. After looking at the sets and other sets available online, I decided to pass on purchasing any set.

For a few years, I was interested in purchasing a Lego botanical set. I sometimes like to purchase Lego sets that catch my eye and build them, as long as they are not too expensive and will fit in with my decor. For several years, I didn’t purchase a Lego set. This is why I was so drawn to the botanical sets.

Trying to Grow Garlic… Again

Since I was a girl, I wanted to grow plants. It didn’t matter if it was flowers, vegetables, or a tree, I wanted to grow plants. I didn’t have the opportunity to grow anything as a child, but as an adult I have tried to grow different plants multiple times. So far the only ones that have survived are an amaryllis bulb I inherited from a relative and a cactus.

Earlier this year, I decided to try to grow garlic. I use garlic a lot in my cooking so I thought it would be something enjoyable to grow. I tried it twice this year. Both times all the garlic I planted failed. After some thought, and a bit of research, I decided to try growing garlic for the third time this year.
