There are Too Many Camping Tents to Choose From….

Right now I am on a roll to do research into which camping tent I want to buy. I already mentioned in a previous post I want to buy either a tent or a canopy to enjoy my back yard… and to keep the bugs away. I still am very interested in buying a canopy, but after some thought, I think a better investment would be to purchase a tent first. That way I can use it as a tent and a canopy… if I buy the right tent!

I have been browsing different websites for affordable tents including Target and Amazon, but it seems my favorite tents are a part of Walmart’s Ozark Trail line of camping gear or are available at Walmart. Even though I know the kind of tent I am looking for, I am very surprised by how many tents there are to choose from!

The Search for Camping Gear for At Home Summer Fun

Summer is coming soon. I am both excited and nervous about summer this year. I am excited about the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Yet, I am nervous because I live in Arizona, where the temperatures are hot during the summer months.

Since this summer is a special one, I wanted to start preparing for it now before everything is either sold out or impossible for me to afford. I don’t need much, but I do need some camping equipment.

5 Things I Do For Fun

Like many people, I’ve had very stressful times in my life… like right now. *sigh*

During these times, I find it hard to do something for myself or something that I can do for fun. This is why it is important to remind myself of the things I really enjoy and is fun. I Have a New Basil Plant!

A few months ago, I went shopping for my groceries. On that day, they had new plants available to purchase. Some of those plants were herbs.

I browsed them and liked how healthy they looked. I wanted to buy another basil plant for months, but I debated if I should purchase one again. I normally buy my plants from a Walmart I normally shop at, but for the past few years my plants have died due to issues with fungus and bugs. (I think it has to do with the location of the Walmart to nearby farm fields.) Since I have issues with these plants, and the grocery store had really nice, healthy plants, I decided to buy a basil plant from the grocery store.

The Search for Lego Sets for My Birthday This Year

November is my birthday month. In previous years, I have celebrated by buying myself things that mean a lot to me, but I didn’t want my loved ones to buy for me. These gifts include handbags, expensive ornaments, and Dior plates. (If you want to know what I’m talking about, I wrote a post about one of the plates I purchased here) This year, I decided to do something slightly different. I decided to buy myself indi published and older books and Lego sets. That’s all.

Updating My Social Media Sites and the Guilt About Abandoning Them

Earlier this year I decided to start updating all my social media sites more frequently. Before this, I mostly used Twitter to post updates that I have published new posts on my blogs. This time, I decided to try to update all of them more frequently.

The problem is I’ve been struggling with a lot of feeling about my social medias. One of the major feelings is guilt about abandoning them. For some, I’ve had them for over ten years and created them to promote my art, which, at that time, is what I was trying to turn into a full time career. Since then I’ve drifted into other topics similar to my blogs. Yet, in the extremely late 2010’s, I stopped posting as much as I used to be.

Squishmallow x Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Collection at Walmart

This Friday, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will open in Theaters. Last month, I discovered tie in toys for the new movie. Although there are official toys, the ones that caught my eye was the Squishmallow plushies.

I have seen Squishmallow collaborations before and thought they were cute. Even though I enjoyed the other collaborations, I wasn’t expecting a Beetlejuice Beetlejuice collaboration! I was so surprised, I decided to take some photographs of them.
