5 Things I Do For Fun

Like many people, I’ve had very stressful times in my life… like right now. *sigh*

During these times, I find it hard to do something for myself or something that I can do for fun. This is why it is important to remind myself of the things I really enjoy and is fun. Since I’m going through a pretty stressful time in my life right now, I wanted to list five of the things I do for fun. These are not the only things I do for fun, but it is something I know will bring me stress relief!

Hike or Go For a Walk

When I was younger, I would ride my bike to relax after a very stressful day at school. Today, I still have my bike, (Well, one that is big enough for me!) but I prefer to hike or go for a walk. It is easier and more efficient to do than ride my bike. I really enjoy not driving somewhere to ride my bike right now!

Knit and Sew

Knitting and sewing are two hobbies I love to do for fun. The major drawback for me is they can be incredibly stressful when the pattern doesn’t work right. Yet, seeing what I made after I finish makes me extremely happy!

Draw and Sketch

Drawing and sketching used to be my go-to stress relievers and activity to do for fun. Today, I still enjoy drawing and sketching, but I don’t do it for fun as much as I used to. I’m hoping to get back into it this year!

Read

Reading is very relaxing for me. I enjoy escaping from the real world into a good novel. Sometimes it is hard to find a good novel to read, but once I find one, I love rereading it over and over again!

Listen to Music

For many years, listening to music has been my favorite activity. I can do it while I work, while I drive, or whenever I feel like I need to keep myself in an optimistic mood. Today, I still enjoy listening to music. Just not in my car because my radio doesn’t work properly. *sigh*

That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
