The ‘Wuthering Heights’ Movie, Will I Watch It, and Why I Will/Won’t Watch It

A new movie inspired by Emily Bronte’s novel Wuthering Heights was released on February 13, 2026. Although I originally thought it would be just another movie version of a classic novel, things changed once I saw some of the paparazzi photographs surfaced online. As time began to pass, I began to hear more and more about how people online were unsure about this movie and it’s faithfulness to the novel.

After watching a few videos, and viewed more content than that, about the movie, I made a decision about if I would or would not watch the movie and why.

The Sale of Warner Brothers, The CW, and Panic Buying My Favorite TV Shows on DVD

The sale of Warner Brothers has been really huge news for quite some time. It isn’t every day a studio as large, well known, and is over 100 years old begins the process to sell it’s assets (Including the actual studios, catalogue, and more) and start to close it’s doors.

When I heard about it, it was just a small rumbling my friends heard about. Now, we know what they heard wasn’t a rumor and it was the truth. Yet, I began to wonder what would happen if Warner Brothers did close. What would happen to a lot of movies and TV shows I love? Will they still exist on DVD still or will they be available via streaming services only?

After thinking about this for months, I finally decided to star buying my favorite TV shows and movies on DVD.

Movie Review: My Christmas Inn (2018)

In order to prepare posts for Blogmas 2025, I’ve been watching a lot of romantic Christmas movies. The Hallmark Channel has many Christmas movies to watch, but this year I wanted to try something different: I wanted to watch the romantic Christmas movies that are not from Hallmark.

The first movies I decided to watch is My Christmas Inn. It is from Lifetime and premiere in 2018. This one caught my eye because it stars Tina Mowry-Hardict. I remember watching it a long time ago, but I felt like I forgot about most of it. I found it available other than watch for free on Lifetime’s official YouTube channel in order to review it for this post.

Movie Review: A Merry Scottish Christmas (2023)

Every Christmas season, Hallmark releases many Christmas themed romance movies. In most recent years, I felt overwhelmed by the amount of movies Hallmark releases ever holiday season. For the most part, I like them, but I don’t really love them.

In 2023, Hallmark released A Merry Scottish Christmas. When I watched it for the first time, I was really impressed by it. Since then, I’ve dwelled on the movie and how different it is from other royal Christmas romance movies I’ve watched over the past few years. This brought me to decided to write a review about it for Blogmas.

Movie Review: Hats Off To Christmas! (2013)

The early to mid 2010’s was the time when I would watch the Hallmark Channel movies the most. I looked forward to every holiday season when new movies would be released. In 2013, one of the movies I was excited to see was Hats Off To Christmas!.

Hats Off To Christmas! seemed like a cheesy name for a movie, but it wasn’t the reason why I wanted to watch it. It was because Hailey Duff, Hilary Duff’s sister, would star in the movie. Earlier this year, I was reminded of the movie online. I didn’t have this blog back when the movie premiered, so I thought it is about time I write a review about it before I forget about it again!

Movie Review: Let It Snow (2013)

Last fall, I began to binge watch Hallmark movies that were available to watch for free with ads. I had multiple movies to pick from including some of Hallmark’s famous Christmas romances. For the most part I remember watching most of them, but the one I remember liking was Let It Snow. It has been a while since I watched it, so I decided to watch it again.

Now that it’s Christmas time again, I wanted to include a review for the movie for this year’s Blogmas posts.

Movie Review: Pumpkin Pie Wars (2016)

Whenever I’m working from home, I sometimes put on movies and TV shows to listen to in the background. Last year, I found YouTube movies had Pumpkin Pie Wars available to watch. I remember watching it in 2016, but I forgot most of it. Since it was available to watch for free with ads, I decided to put it on while I worked.

Now that it is fall, I decided now would be a good time to write my review of it!

6 Chick Flick Movies I Loved as a Teenager in the 2000’s

When I was a teenager in the 2000’s, it seemed like there were plenty of new and new-to-me chick flick movies to watch. In the years since then, it feels like the movies created for women have changed. This is why, every now and then, I will rewatch my favorite movies as a teenager.

Recently, I browsed my movie collection to see if there are any movies I own and really enjoyed. This is when I rediscovered some of my old favorite movies. Inspired by this, I decided to write a post listing my top 6 favorite chick flick movies for Galentine’s Day.

Wicked Part 1 Toys at Walmart

Every year, toy companies like to release their best toys around Christmas time. This is also the time when movies with a target audience for children and families are released, as well as toys tied in with the film.

This year, I saw a lot of merchandise for Wicked Part 1. It was released in theaters in November 2024. Before the movie was released, the tie in toys were released.

At my local Walmart, these toys were released and some sold out quickly. Others were probably delayed and showed up after Black Friday. I enjoyed looking at the toys, so here are some of the highlights of the Wicked Part 1 toys.

Movie Review: Good Morning Christmas! (2020)

Every year, Hallmark releases a plethora of clean romantic Christmas themed movies. Sometimes, they are good. Sometimes they aren’t. Still, I enjoy trying to watch as many as I can. (I’m a sucker for clean romantic movies and books!)

Good Morning Christmas! premiered in 2020. I purchased a DVD version of it as part of a three movie set that I purchased in 2021. Since then, I have watched it multiple times and now feel like it is a good time to write a review about it. After all, I have multiple years to watch it and think about it!
