The Ups and Downs of Decorating for the Holidays While Working on the House

Christmas is this week and I’m sad to say I don’t have a big tree up in my house. I had plans to put one up, but this year things are different. My house needs work and I don’t have anywhere to put a tree up.

Christmas Events in My Town and Missing Out on the Festive Fun for 2025

Christmas is less than a week away. I am both happy and sad to see this season to come to an end. I am happy to see this busy season end, but I am also sad because I enjoy Christmas decorations and all the festive activities that go along with it.

This year, I had plans to go to one of the major Christmas events in my town. Even though I had plans, nothing panned out and I ended up staying home. After this miss opportunity, I began to wonder if there are other Christmas events in my area. I began to search for events in my town, but there wasn’t anything as major as the missed event.

Mid-Holiday Season Update- How the 2025 Christmas Season is Going for Me

It’s about halfway through the month of December so I decided to write an update about how the holiday season is going this year.

So far, nothing exciting has happened. Well, there were exciting things that happened, but it was more related to everyday life and problems with it than the holiday season. As for the holiday side of thing, nothing has happened.

Thoughts on Being a Homebody During the Summertime

Summertime is always a great time to get out of the house and do something fun. In colder climates, it is the best time of the year to get out of the house and enjoy warmer temperatures. In warmer climates, such as where I live, it is not so fun. For the people who live in the area where I live, summertime, especially in June, it is the worse time to be outside. It is the time when temperatures will reach well over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. All kinds of problems can arise from being outside these types of temperatures including heat stroke.

This is why so many people like to travel. We like to travel to the mountains North of where I live. There is where the temperatures are cooler. Other favorite places to travel include California and Nevada. If you can’t travel, you need to work around these hot temperatures when you go out or just stay home.

This summer, it looks like I will be staying home. Again.

Thoughts on Moving to a City (Plus Pros and Cons)

As I write this, I’m still trying to figure out a timeline for when I can move from my current home. Everything moving related is still up in the air due to delays beyond my control. In order to keep myself motivated and optimistic, I’m focusing on where I would like to live and why. One of the areas I am strongly considering moving to is in a city.

There are many reasons why I’d like to move to a city, but it mostly deals with my job. I know I will need to be able to travel to a metropolitan area for work. Even though living in an area where I can commute to work sounds nice, I wondered if I would like a change. I never fully lived in a city before, so I thought maybe that may be something I’d like to do.

6 Rides I Want to Ride at Disneyland (2022)

Every now and then, I fall down a rabbit hole of theme park videos on YouTube. Usually I binge watch them whenever I sew or do anything that allows me to watch a video, TV show, or movie on in the background. After the beginning of the pandemic, I began to desire to travel to Disneyland or Walt Disney World as soon as things calmed down. As of this post, I’m not planning on visiting the parks for a vacation, but I still am dreaming of going

Even though I’m not going to the parks, I have an ever constant list of rides I want to ride when I get there. After watching so many videos, I wanted to write a few posts about the rides at Disneyland and Walt Disney World I want to ride the most. Since Disneyland is the closet to where I live, I’m going to start with the six rides I want to ride on the most at Disneyland in 2022. This post will cover the Disneyland rides only. I will be talking about the rides I want to ride on in California Adventure in a different post. Continue reading “6 Rides I Want to Ride at Disneyland (2022)”
