Every now and then, I fall down a rabbit hole of theme park videos on YouTube. Usually I binge watch them whenever I sew or do anything that allows me to watch a video, TV show, or movie on in the background. After the beginning of the pandemic, I began to desire to travel to Disneyland or Walt Disney World as soon as things calmed down. As of this post, I’m not planning on visiting the parks for a vacation, but I still am dreaming of going

Even though I’m not going to the parks, I have an ever constant list of rides I want to ride when I get there. After watching so many videos, I wanted to write a few posts about the rides at Disneyland and Walt Disney World I want to ride the most. Since Disneyland is the closet to where I live, I’m going to start with the six rides I want to ride on the most at Disneyland in 2022. This post will cover the Disneyland rides only. I will be talking about the rides I want to ride on in California Adventure in a different post.

Peter Pan

I fell in love with the Peter Pan ride when I was a child. Since then, I rode it so many times I got tired of it. Even though I wanted to ride other rides at Disneyland, if I were to go back today, I’d try to ride it one more time for memories sake

 

Rise of the Resistance

I watched so many YouTube videos about the Rise of the Resistance ride that I knew I’d like to ride it. I would also like to ride Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, but if I had to choose between the two, Rise of the Resistance would be the one I’d pick. It’s more my speed and is the kind of ride I enjoy riding on

 

The Matterhorn

When I went to Disneyland for the first time, I didn’t like the idea of riding The Matterhorn. I hated roller coasters (I still do) so that’s why The Matterhorn as well as Splash Mountain and Space Mountain were rides I didn’t have any interest riding on. Then I was convinced to go on it, and fell in love with it. This is why, if I were to go back to Disneyland, I want to ride it again

 

Pirates of the Caribbean

I rode Pirates of the Caribbean before the changes to add characters from the movies and after. I loved it without the movie’s characters, and I loved it after the addition of the movie’s characters. Prior to the pandemic, Disneyland changed the ride so one of the scenes (The one with the “Red Head” girl) is different. I would like to ride the ride again to see the additional changes made to it and, hopefully enjoy this new version as well!

 

Star Tours

Star Tours is a ride I always want to go on whenever I am at Disneyland. I miss riding it and I would really like to ride it again. Especially since the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

 

Indiana Jones

The last ride I’d like to go on in Disneyland is the Indiana Jones ride. I always loved it and wanted to go on it whenever I had a chance to. So, whenever my return trip to Disneyland happens, I’m riding Indiana Jones again!
