My Favorite Events for Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary

Today is the start of Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary! I am really happy to see Disney is doing special things for the platinum anniversary of Disneyland. (Also known as the Disneyland Resort)

Although I have no plans for a vacation to Disneyland this year, I still try to keep up to date with what is going on in the park. This way whenever I do go on vacation to Disneyland, I will know what has changed and what hasn’t. For the 70th Anniversary, there are events planned from May 16, 2025 through 2026. This allows for a longer window of time to visit the park and enjoy the special anniversary events.

After doing some research about the anniversary events, there are a few anniversary events that caught my eye. Since they start today, I wanted to talk about my favorite events in a post. I got the information about the events from Disneyland’s official webpage for the 70th anniversary and from Disney Parks Blog’s Complete Guide to the 70th Anniversary.

Book Review: Santa Stops at Disneyland- A Little Golden Book

Ever since I was a girl, I enjoyed reading Christmas books. Even if it wasn’t Christmas time, I still would like to read them! As an adult, I still enjoy reading Christmas themed children’s books. Even though my collection is not very large, I still enjoy reading them!

For this year’s Blogmas, I decided to write some more reviews on some of my Christmas children’s books. I decided to start with one of my newest additions to my book collection: Santa Stops at Disneyland!

Missing Disneyland and Watching Disneyland Livesteams to Ease My Wanderlust

It’s mid July and I’m officially calling it the summer when all I do is work and stay at home. Again. I had a feeling this summer wouldn’t be like other summers, and it hasn’t. Yet, when it comes to taking time off work and leaving my house for a vacation, that hasn’t changed.

Since the 4th of July, I decided to try to watch more enjoyable entertainment. There really isn’t much I want to watch on TV anymore, so I’m usually going though my stash of DVDs and watching things on YouTube while I work. I was thinking about watching some streaming shows instead, but I sometimes get too distracted to sit in front of the TV or computer to watch an episode all the way through. I feel more comfortable pausing and stopping DVDs and YouTube videos instead. One of the YouTube videos I began to watch are livestreams from Disneyland.

I really don’t like watching livestreams because anything can happen on them… and some of it isn’t good! I watched livestreams from Disneyland a few years ago because I missed the parks and wanted to see how everything has changed. Even though I was afraid to watch livestreams, I found one person I really liked and began watching his videos until I felt contented with Disneyland content.

On the 4th of July, I decided to watch the fireworks on the livestreams. I couldn’t go outside and watch fireworks from my house this year, so I thought this would be a great way to celebrate the 4th of July without needing to go outside. This ended up working out really well.

It’s been almost two weeks since I began to watch livestreams from Disneyland again and I’m really enjoying it! I miss Disneyland a lot and wish I could travel there this year. Although I’m not sure which livestreamer is my favorite, I have found two that run clean livestreams. (No cursing. No lewd comments. Ect.)

Even though I miss visiting Disneyland (And California Adventure) and exploring the parks myself, and wish I could go on a vacation, seeing the parks live from wherever I am has made me feel better. It has also given me ideas for where to go and what rides to ride!

That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!

6 Rides I Want to Ride at Disneyland California Adventure (2022)

In a previous post, I talked about the six rides I want to ride at Disneyland. The list, which is current as of 2022, only covered the Disneyland park. In today’s post, I want to talk about the six rides I want to ride as Disneyland’s sister park, California Adventure.

6 Rides I Want to Ride at Disneyland (2022)

Every now and then, I fall down a rabbit hole of theme park videos on YouTube. Usually I binge watch them whenever I sew or do anything that allows me to watch a video, TV show, or movie on in the background. After the beginning of the pandemic, I began to desire to travel to Disneyland or Walt Disney World as soon as things calmed down. As of this post, I’m not planning on visiting the parks for a vacation, but I still am dreaming of going

Even though I’m not going to the parks, I have an ever constant list of rides I want to ride when I get there. After watching so many videos, I wanted to write a few posts about the rides at Disneyland and Walt Disney World I want to ride the most. Since Disneyland is the closet to where I live, I’m going to start with the six rides I want to ride on the most at Disneyland in 2022. This post will cover the Disneyland rides only. I will be talking about the rides I want to ride on in California Adventure in a different post. Continue reading “6 Rides I Want to Ride at Disneyland (2022)”

My Disneyland Ride Bucket List 2020

Walt Disney World recently reopened after being closed to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Even though Disneyland is still closed, if I were to travel to a Disneyland park it would be Disneyland. Although there is a huge debate about which is better, Disney World or Disneyland, I prefer Disneyland because it’s the first park and it closest to where I live.

I’m not doing any traveling right now, but that doesn’t seem to stop me from making plans for a future vacation to Disneyland. Although it will take me a while before I visit Disneyland again, I made a bucket list of rides I want to go on as soon as I visit Disneyland again.
