An Update on My Eczema and Allergies- January 2025

For the past few years, I’ve been focusing on improving my eczema and reducing the amount of allergens in my food. I’m happy to say that I’m doing much better! I’m not completely eczema free and I don’t have any food based allergic reactions anymore, but the constant swelling in my body due to my allergies has gone done a lot. Also, my skin is healing from the eczema.

There are a few reasons why this happened, but the main reasons are because of major changes to my diet, major changes to my lifestyle, and I found a body wash that works great for my skin.

Beauty Product Shopping, Higher Prices, and Adjusting to Accommodate for My Allergies

Sephora’s Savings Event is happening right now and, after holding back from shopping for new makeup and other beauty related things, I decided to shop at Sephora. Since November is my birthday month, it is also the time for me to collect my gifts from Sephora.

In order to prep for the sale, I decided to search for my old favorite products and to see if there was anything new I would like to buy. After my search, I’ve been feeling really frustrated by the selection of products and the prices of them.

Cleaning with Physical Health Problems (And Why It is Dragging Out the Process)

It has been over a month since I wrote a post about anything home repair and cleaning related. All throughout the month of October, I went back and forth if I should write about what is going on in my life. I decided not to because… well… things haven’t been going so well.

Just a Reminder to Drink Water This Summer!

I don’t know how many bloggers write a post about drinking water during the summer, but I thought I would take the chance to write one. These past few weeks have been hard on me due to a virus and other medical issues (Including a health problem I never talk about online) but what has been helping me get through them was drinking lots of water.

Drinking water will not help every single medical issue, but during the summer months it is extremely important to keep drinking water. Dehydration is no fun and can creep up on you if you’re not careful! So please make sure to drink plenty of water! According to an article on the Mayo Clinic’s website about the subject, eight glasses a day is a good goal to make for yourself or you can take listen to the U.S. National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine who, according to the article, “determined that an adequate daily fluid intake is… about 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day for men (and) about 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids a day for women”. Also make sure to eat foods with water in them. That way you will not only get the nutrients from eating the food, but also water.

As I write this post, I’m feeling much better. I was starting to suffer from dehydration due to the fever I had from the virus. That, coupled with the fact I live in an arid climate that had a heat wave when I was sick, made it extra necessary to drink more water.

So, if you are going anywhere this week and want to maintain your health, please make sure to drink plenty of water. Also, if you are going anywhere hot, make sure the water is cold and please don’t go out when the temperature is at its hottest!

Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!

How I Am Doing This Allergy Season- Spring 2021

If you followed my blog for a while, you probably read me mention my allergies a few times in my posts. The reason why I talk about my allergies so frequently is due to the affect make up, skin care, and fragrances in general have on them. I have year around allergies cause by the natural plant vegetation, agriculture, and other naturally occurring things in the area. Even though I can manage them by taking an allergy pill, sometimes they get much worse due to the plants blossoming or something happening due to the agriculture in the area.

According to many new reports, this season is especially bad for allergies. I think this is confusing because I live in Arizona and Arizona is most defiantly lacking in the normal amount of yearly rain totals. Since there hasn’t been a lot of rain, I don’t know why there are so many blooms or where the plants got their water from. Still, I can see what the reports are talking about. Many plants are blooming here, which means allergy sufferers will be suffering.

I’m not sure how many of my readers will wonder how I’m doing and how my allergies are this spring, but I still wanted to write a post about my allergies, how bad they are, and how I’m dealing with them.
