During the holiday season, brands sometimes use holiday themed bags for anyone who purchases something from their store. Starbucks is one of the best-known brands, releasing holiday themed cups every year. This year, Victoria’s Secret started to use special packaging for the holidays. I really liked the look of the packaging, so I wanted to dedicate a post to the style and design of the holiday 2021 bags, tissue paper, gift wrap, and more.
During a recent shopping trip to Ulta Beauty, I saw the I Heart Revolution x Elf makeup collection display. I knew there was a collaboration between I Heart Revolution and the beloved Christmas movie Elf, but I didn’t think there would be enough items from the collection available in store to look at. Christmas is a fun time of the year, but sometimes it’s not that fun when it’s celebrated alone. Throughout my adulthood, I had to celebrate many Christmas without many of my friends. Last year was the hardest because of the pandemic. Despite this, I tried to make the happiest time of the year into a less lonely time of the year by forcing myself to do Christmas themed activities. Whenever guests come over to visit, it can be a stressful time. Between prepping for their arrival and making sure they are entertained, it can be hard to remember everything to do in order to make a great impression on guests and show you appreciate their visit. This is the time of the year when people make an effort to visit their family and friends’ homes. Ever since I was a little girl, I always enjoyed looking at the Holiday Barbie dolls. As I got older, I continued to look at the dolls for fun. This year, I wanted to make a serious effort to look at the 2021 Holiday Barbie doll in store. I found the doll with two skin tones at the Walmart closest to my home.
There are many trends stores and brands like to promote. One of these trends are for Christmas decorations. The influence is everywhere. It’s on social media, in grocery stores, and in the decorations used by shopping areas, cities and towns, and places of business. This is why it can be hard to be a savvy shopper with a desire to shop carefully and mindfully of their budget as well as what they may actually like to own and continue to use for many years to come.
Since it can be so hard to decided if you’ll like the trendy Christmas decorations if you are constantly encouraged to shop, I made up five questions I always ask myself before I purchase something that is a decoration trend for the year.
