And now, here are more gift ideas for sewers!
As we inch our way closer to Christmas, I wanted to write a few more posts dedicated to gift ideas. I really enjoy writing these posts, so it is an easy way for me to create content during Blogmas.
For this post, I wanted to dedicate it to sewers. I am a sewer myself so I understand how hard it can be to find the right sewing oriented gift.
While working on this post, I realized I had so many ideas for gifts that I decided to split the ideas into two different posts. Look for part 2 coming soon!

Mother’s Day is coming up really soon (This Sunday!). Because of this, Bath and Body Works has been promoting their products for Mother’s Day gifts. Their promotion of their products reminded me of the Gingham Mini Fine Fragrance Mist Gift Set I purchased last month. It would make a great Mother’s Day present, as well as a birthday present and graduation present, and is not that expensive. (Around $30 USD)

I will not lie, I struggled thinking of post ideas for Valentine’s Day. It’s not that I didn’t have ideas. I do. I just couldn’t write them fast enough to post! One of the alternative ideas I had was to share my favorite high end candy and sweets gift sets that are available for purchase for Valentine’s Day 2023.
The gift sets on this list can be purchased a high end retailers or department stores with a target demographic with a higher income salary. I sometimes get emails from some of the stores mentioned in this post, which is why I began to search for gift sets I would like to talk about in a post! Some of the brands are not brands I personally eat due to allergies (I’m talking about Sugarfina), but their gift sets look very nice. So, I decided to include them in this post anyway. In a previous post, I talked about the Clinique gift sets for 2022. I found the gift sets on an end cap at my closest Ulta Beauty. A few weeks after seeing the gift sets, I returned to Ulta Beauty to shop and browse. After looking around the store, I found another section of the store with more Clinique gift sets. I recognized gift sets I already saw on the end cap, but I also saw gift sets I didn’t. No matter if they were old or new, I was very excited to see the gift sets. It’s that time of the year when stores start to release beauty holiday gift sets. This year, the gift sets are being released in October in order to avoid shipping delays and supply problems. Because of this, I decided to write my favorite holiday gift sets in October instead of late November and December.
One of the first brands that released their whole entire line of gift sets is Clinique. Clinique’s products aren’t for everyone, especially their acme products, I do like certain beauty items. This year, Clinique released many gift sets that have items I really like or know people who like. For many years, I collect fashion books. Some of them are for specific collections or fashion houses, others are about fashion styles from specific time periods. Some are coffee table books while others are actually textbooks that are used by colleges and professional costume designers to create historically accurate books. And, like anyone who has a large library of books on a specific subject, I have books I love more than others.
Recently, I started to go through my library of fashion books and realized some of the books in my collection would make great gifts for anyone who wants to give one to a friend or family member for Christmas. I narrowed down the group of books to five of my favorite fashion books that would make great gifts for Christmas. As of December 2020, all the books on this list are still in print and are in my own personal collection. Some may be more expensive than others, but I’m capping the price point of under $100 USD.
