It’s almost the end of January, but I’m slowly realizing how many things I wanted to do in 2020 and didn’t. Favorite Music Hits from the Year 2000 (Pop/Rock/Ect. Music Only)
It’s the last few days of 2020 and I’m lamenting about all the posts I wanted to write this year. One of the post topics I wanted to write about is reminiscing about the year 2000. I didn’t end up writing any of the posts because I felt the events of this year, especially the pandemic, made reminiscing about my good old days was in poor taste. So, I held back.
Now it’s the last week of 2020 and I feel like I missed my golden opportunity to talk about the year 2000. Despite this, I know I can take all my post ideas and topics and rewrite them into a future post. All I need to do is write those posts. Although I’m planning on saving all my post ideas for later, I still wanted to talk about something nostalgic from the year 2000.
Back in 2000, listening to music was one of my favorite hobbies. Ironically, during the day at home orders, I began to listen to all the music I could find that I used to enjoy. Even though it’s been years since I listen to the music, I wanted to listen to it, mostly because it was something I would listen to when I was stressed or worried, much like I was this year. Although I enjoyed many songs from the year 2000, I wanted to share my favorites from the year 2000 that I still love to this day…

Ballet Company YouTube Channels That Are Streaming The Nutcracker Performances- 2020
Well, this holiday season hasn’t turned out the way I wanted to. In addition to a lot of things happening in my real life (Including a health scare of one of my relatives (It has nothing to do with the pandemic)), I also missed a few days of Blogmas! To be honest, I suspected I may miss a few posts this year because this year has been so weird, but I still hoped it wouldn’t happen. Despite this, I still plan to make 25 or more posts this month… even if some of those posts are on the same day.
During this odd and stressful holiday time, I discovered several ballet companies are posting videos of their 2019 performances of The Nutcracker. This made me extremely happy to see because the videos are not clips of the performances, but of the whole entire show. Although I don’t have the time to search each ballet company’s YouTube channels (Or try to search and see if they actually have a YouTube channel) I wanted to share some of my favorite ballet YouTube channels that did post videos of their Nutcracker performances in full.

Books I Wanted to Read in 2020 But Didn’t (And Why)
It’s almost the end of 2020 and, because of the problems going on in the world, I didn’t go out much. Since I didn’t go out much, I stayed home and read more books than I normally do. Although I did make quite a few dents in my reading list, I’m still sad I didn’t get around to read more books I wanted to read in 2020.

As you may have noticed, I’m very excited about my future house, even though I don’t own one nor am I ready to move yet. I’m not sure anyone I know that needs to know what I want for Christmas reads my blog, (Or every single post of it) but I recently like to make lists of things I want. I do this so I can go back and review it a few weeks later and decide if I really do want it or can go without it. 5 Fictional Novels Published in 2020 to Give as Gifts
Because of the pandemic, I had time to read. Reading has become rare for me because I’m usually busy working or doing something else. Now that I’m stuck at home, I began to read and enjoy reading once again.
This renewed interest in reading has also made me focus on finding new books to add to my library. In 2020, the publication of many books was delayed, but many did get published. Since it’s the time of the year to give gifts, I wanted to list my five favorite fictional novels published in 2020 to give as gifts. I have yet to read all the books on this list, but I know these books are the most popular and are books I’m very excited to read. 5 Holiday Things I Want to Do In My Future New Home
This holiday season I’m currently living with my relative. I started living with my relative when I became very ill years ago, but I always dreamed of buying my own house and living in it. In 2019, I planned to buy my own home and move out of my relative’s home, but my relative had some health issues that required me to stay and help my relative for the rest of the year. Although I planned to move out in 2020, the pandemic postponed home buying and moving indefinitely.
Despite this holiday season not being a normal one, or one spent in my own home, I still dream and plan for my future home. This has been hard because I’m not sure where I’m going to live or how big my home will ultimately be. Still, I think of all the fun things I can do while living in my future home. Since it’s the holiday season, I thought it might help myself feel more hopeful about my future home if I write a post about five holiday themed things I want to do in my future home. 5 Favorite Fashion Books to Give as Gifts for Christmas 2020
For many years, I collect fashion books. Some of them are for specific collections or fashion houses, others are about fashion styles from specific time periods. Some are coffee table books while others are actually textbooks that are used by colleges and professional costume designers to create historically accurate books. And, like anyone who has a large library of books on a specific subject, I have books I love more than others.
Recently, I started to go through my library of fashion books and realized some of the books in my collection would make great gifts for anyone who wants to give one to a friend or family member for Christmas. I narrowed down the group of books to five of my favorite fashion books that would make great gifts for Christmas. As of December 2020, all the books on this list are still in print and are in my own personal collection. Some may be more expensive than others, but I’m capping the price point of under $100 USD.
