Since I was a pre-teen, I collected coffee table books. When I started collecting them, people, including my parents, thought I was weird, but I loved them. The first coffee table books I owned are Lord of the Rings books that I’d ask for my birthday. Despite how odd my love of coffee table books was, I continue to buy them to this day.

Over time, I began to learn a few things about starting a collection of coffee table books. Right now I’m in the mindset of purchasing, or potentially purchasing, new books, so I decided to write a post dedicated to collecting coffee table books. Especially since they can be very expensive!

Book Review: Wicked: The Grimmerie, a Behind-the-Scenes Look at the Hit Broadway Musical

Many years ago, I was a huge fan of musicals. One of the musicals I was a huge fan of was Wicked. Back then Wicked was new and the only merchandise available where I lived was the soundtrack featuring the original Broadway cast and a book called Wicked: The Grimmerie, a Behind-the-Scenes Look at the Hit Broadway Musical.

Since Halloween is coming later on this month, I wanted to write some posts that are more Halloween themed. Unfortunately, I don’t have access to all the Halloween themed possessions. Instead, I decided to write a review about Wicked, The Grimmerie. After all, the musical is about witches, magic, and premiered on Broadway on October 30, 2003.

Art, Fashion, and Sewing Books I Want to Own- March 2021

I recently began to clean out my books, dust them, and take innovatory of what books I own and which ones I don’t. After doing this, I realized there are a few sewing, art, and fashion books I would like to add to my library, including some newer releases and updated versions of books I already own. 5 Coffee Table Books I Want for Christmas 2020

I’m not sure anyone I know that needs to know what I want for Christmas reads my blog, (Or every single post of it) but I recently like to make lists of things I want. I do this so I can go back and review it a few weeks later and decide if I really do want it or can go without it. Even though I’m doing this for many different topics, I wanted to write a post featuring the the top five coffee table books I want for Christmas this year.

Since everything this year is so crazy, I’m unsure if I’ll buy or receive any of these books as gifts before the end of this year, but these coffee table books are the ones I will try to purchase next year.

5 Favorite Fashion Books to Give as Gifts for Christmas 2020

For many years, I collect fashion books. Some of them are for specific collections or fashion houses, others are about fashion styles from specific time periods. Some are coffee table books while others are actually textbooks that are used by colleges and professional costume designers to create historically accurate books. And, like anyone who has a large library of books on a specific subject, I have books I love more than others.

Recently, I started to go through my library of fashion books and realized some of the books in my collection would make great gifts for anyone who wants to give one to a friend or family member for Christmas. I narrowed down the group of books to five of my favorite fashion books that would make great gifts for Christmas. As of December 2020, all the books on this list are still in print and are in my own personal collection. Some may be more expensive than others, but I’m capping the price point of under $100 USD. Target: 20 Years of Design for All: How Target Revolutionized Accessible Design Book Review

On September 14, 2019, Target released their 20th anniversary collection of their design partnership. Before the collection hit stores, they released a book called Target: 20 Years of Design for All: How Target Revolutionized Accessible Design. Out of everything Target released to celebrate their 20th anniversary of their design partnerships, this book was by far the one I wanted the most. There are two main reasons why I wanted the book: I already owned everything I wanted from the design partnerships from their original release and, based off previous experience, it’s nearly impossible to obtain everything I wanted without fighting everyone in store or online. Since the book was available in mass quantities, it was easy for me to pick it up without struggling to beat others to buy it.

Now that I owned the book for a few weeks, and it’s been a week since the full collection was released, I wanted to write a review about it. (By the way, this post is not sponsored. And yes, I really did buy this book with my own money because I’m really excited to own it.)
