Mini Brands x Ulta Beauty- What I Got and What I Plan on Doing With It

In one of my Ulta Beauty haul posts from November 2024, I mentioned I purchased a Mini Brands x Ulta Beauty ball. You can read that post here. While writing the post, I thought talking about the ball would make a great post topic. Mini Brands are not everyone’s cup of tea, so I won’t be talking about other Mini Brands balls I own. Yet, I still wanted to talk about the Ulta Beauty version and what I plan on doing with it and all my other Mini Brands ball contents I own.

Knitting and Crochet Etsy Small Business to Shop on Black Friday/Small Business Saturday 2024

Over the years, I have picked up many hobbies. Two of these hobbies are knitting and crocheting. Since I started both hobbies, I began to favor knitting and now exclusively knit.

Even though I now knit more than crochet, I still love looking at crochet patterns, just in case I decided to pick crochet up again. This Black Friday and Small Business Saturday, I wanted to share the Etsy shops I love to shop and/or browse the most. Most of the shops focus on knitting, mostly because I am knitter now, but there are shops that also sell crochet patterns.

Shopping Black Friday sales are always a great time for hobbyist to save money on supplies. This is why it is my favorite time of year to shop for sewing supplies!

Gift Ideas for Sewers- Part 2

In a previous post, I talked about gift ideas for sewers. While writing the post, I realized that I had a lot of gift ideas! Instead of including them in one large post, I decided to break them up into two different posts. You can read the first post here.

And now, here are more gift ideas for sewers!

Gift Ideas for Sewers- Part 1

As we inch our way closer to Christmas, I wanted to write a few more posts dedicated to gift ideas. I really enjoy writing these posts, so it is an easy way for me to create content during Blogmas.

For this post, I wanted to dedicate it to sewers. I am a sewer myself so I understand how hard it can be to find the right sewing oriented gift.

While working on this post, I realized I had so many ideas for gifts that I decided to split the ideas into two different posts. Look for part 2 coming soon!

And with that out of the way, here are the gift ideas for sewers!

My Summer Plans for 2023

Summer’s unofficial start is coming soon. For many people, it means it’s time to take advantage of this time of the year and do fun things. For me, I feel like my plans for this summer season are pretty flexible. I don’t have a lot of plans to do anything major or special, but if I see an opportunity to do something special, I will!

Even though my plans are pretty flexible, there are some major plans I want to do at least once this season. Some of them are things I want to continue after summertime begins while others are things that remind me summertimes, yet are more inexpensive than traveling.

Peeps Marshmallows Craft and Merchandise Collection at Michael’s Craft Store

Easter is a week away! To me, it snuck up on me. Sadly, I didn’t have the chance to really get excited about it like I used to. Despite this, I wanted to write some Easter themed posts (Or what I would hope could be considered Easter themed posts) for the week leading up to Easter. (I’m taking the weekend off starting on Friday in order to celebrate without worrying about the internet!)

For many people, Peeps Marshmallow treats are an essential way of celebrating Easter. While shopping at Michael’s Craft Store, I found a section of the store dedicated to Peeps. In addition to the Peeps Marshmallows, there were other Peep related merchandise. I thought everything I saw was really cute, so I decided to take photographs of them and talk about them in a post. Thankfulness Over A New Washing Machine and How it Saved My Quilt

Since my vehicle broke down and the vehicle I’m borrowing broke down, I began to realize there are many things I need to do around my house but never did. I wanted to finish them, but I was either too busy or too sick to finish them. Now that I couldn’t go anywhere or do anything, I decided to work on as many of them as I could.

These things range from cleaning rooms out, sewing clothes I wanted to make but never did, or repairing things around my house. Even though I feel overwhelmed by the amount of things to do, I know working on small tasks will help me feel better about the rest of the things around the house.

One of the small tasks is washing. Usually the washing is focused on curtains, which I haven’t cleaned in years, but I recently found something I need to wash that wasn’t curtains. I found a quilt I made for my relative that needs to be washed. Continue reading “Thankfulness Over A New Washing Machine and How it Saved My Quilt”

Top 5 Weirdest Christmas Presents I Ever Asked For

In November, while talking to my friends, they began to joke about all the weird things they asked for as presents over the years. I, of course, am no exception. In fact, the reason why this conversation started was because I asked for something odd for Christmas to make my life easier. As our joking continued, I began to realize all the weird things I asked for over the years for Christmas, specifically dealing with my main hobbies of sewing, knitting, crafting, and art.

After remembering all the weird, odd, or unusual presents I asked for over the years, I thought it would make a great post for Blogmas. So, here are five of the weirdest Christmas present requests I ever made, which are more functional and needed than people may think. Favorite Etsy Sewing, Craft, and DIY Small Business Shops

Today is Small Business Saturday, the day when we are encouraged to shop and support small businesses. Although there are many places to shop on Black Friday this year, I wanted to include some small business I love to shop on Etsy. Usually when I shop on Etsy, I’m shopping for sewing, craft, and DIY supplies, so all the stores I am recommending are focused on sewing, craft, and DIY. Links to the stores are also provided.
