When I started this blog in 2017, there are several post ideas that I keep thinking about but always decide to not write. One of these post ideas is what I wanted to be when I grew up.
Recently, I found a daily writing prompt about that same subject. After thinking about it for a while, I decided it is time to write a post about what I wanted to do when I grew up.
I don’t know how obvious it is in my posts on this blog, but right now I feel creatively stuck. For over ten years, I’ve posted anything I made online. After all these years, I feel… stuck. As I write this post, I don’t know where my life is heading (Except my health (Including my eczema) is doing much better and my house had work done to it) and I feel very nervous about it. In the meantime, I didn’t feel very creative. I didn’t want to draw, sketch, sew, or anything else. I also found myself comparing myself to people I see online and wondered why I though I was good enough at whatever I did to post online.

It’s Thanksgiving week which means so many great things. For shoppers, and anyone looking for bargains, it means it is time for Black Friday sales!
This year, I wanted to share small business I really like that are available to shop online on Black Friday. They are all taking orders (Unless I wasn’t aware they were closed this week!) and some may even have sales in honor of the big shopping day. I don’t know all the sales they have or any special offers for Thanksgiving and Black Friday, so please check out their websites to see if there are any specials available!

Over the years, I have picked up many hobbies. Two of these hobbies are knitting and crocheting. Since I started both hobbies, I began to favor knitting and now exclusively knit.
Even though I now knit more than crochet, I still love looking at crochet patterns, just in case I decided to pick crochet up again. This Black Friday and Small Business Saturday, I wanted to share the Etsy shops I love to shop and/or browse the most. Most of the shops focus on knitting, mostly because I am knitter now, but there are shops that also sell crochet patterns.
Shopping Black Friday sales are always a great time for hobbyist to save money on supplies. This is why it is my favorite time of year to shop for sewing supplies!
This year, I wanted to share some of my favorite Etsy shops that focus on sewing patterns. The shops I listed are all shops I purchased from and really enjoy their patterns. Some focus on trendy and everyday clothing while others focus on historical clothing for costuming. There is even one shop that focuses on quilt patterns, making this list a diverse list of shops.
The holiday season is known for many things, including giving gifts. For many people, this can be a challenge due to a lack of ideas for presents. Some of the people I sometimes hear are hard to buy for are artists, specifically those that draw or paint. I am an artist that draws, so I sometimes see why it is so hard to buy presents for us. Especially if the gift recipient is particular with their art supplies. Since I have been on both the giving and gifting sides, I wanted to share my favorite gift ideas for artists in a post. Summer’s unofficial start is coming soon. For many people, it means it’s time to take advantage of this time of the year and do fun things. For me, I feel like my plans for this summer season are pretty flexible. I don’t have a lot of plans to do anything major or special, but if I see an opportunity to do something special, I will!
Even though my plans are pretty flexible, there are some major plans I want to do at least once this season. Some of them are things I want to continue after summertime begins while others are things that remind me summertimes, yet are more inexpensive than traveling.
Easter is a week away! To me, it snuck up on me. Sadly, I didn’t have the chance to really get excited about it like I used to. Despite this, I wanted to write some Easter themed posts (Or what I would hope could be considered Easter themed posts) for the week leading up to Easter. (I’m taking the weekend off starting on Friday in order to celebrate without worrying about the internet!)
For many people, Peeps Marshmallow treats are an essential way of celebrating Easter. While shopping at Michael’s Craft Store, I found a section of the store dedicated to Peeps. In addition to the Peeps Marshmallows, there were other Peep related merchandise. I thought everything I saw was really cute, so I decided to take photographs of them and talk about them in a post. Since my vehicle broke down and the vehicle I’m borrowing broke down, I began to realize there are many things I need to do around my house but never did. I wanted to finish them, but I was either too busy or too sick to finish them. Now that I couldn’t go anywhere or do anything, I decided to work on as many of them as I could.
These things range from cleaning rooms out, sewing clothes I wanted to make but never did, or repairing things around my house. Even though I feel overwhelmed by the amount of things to do, I know working on small tasks will help me feel better about the rest of the things around the house.
One of the small tasks is washing. Usually the washing is focused on curtains, which I haven’t cleaned in years, but I recently found something I need to wash that wasn’t curtains.
