Peeps Marshmallows Craft and Merchandise Collection at Michael’s Craft Store

Easter is a week away! To me, it snuck up on me. Sadly, I didn’t have the chance to really get excited about it like I used to. Despite this, I wanted to write some Easter themed posts (Or what I would hope could be considered Easter themed posts) for the week leading up to Easter. (I’m taking the weekend off starting on Friday in order to celebrate without worrying about the internet!)

For many people, Peeps Marshmallow treats are an essential way of celebrating Easter. While shopping at Michael’s Craft Store, I found a section of the store dedicated to Peeps. In addition to the Peeps Marshmallows, there were other Peep related merchandise. I thought everything I saw was really cute, so I decided to take photographs of them and talk about them in a post.

In addition to the merchandise, there were Peeps Marshmallows and PopUps! candy for sale…

Aside from that, there are a lot of other Peep related items. The first one is a Peep Cookie Coop Kit…

From what it looks like from the box, it is basically just like gingerbread house kits available during Christmas time. This one is isn’t a gingerbread house, but it is a sugar cookie house. The kit creates a chicken coop style house for Peeps. It can be decorated with candies included in the kit. Premixed white and yellow icing, cookie figurines, and five Peeps chicks are included in the kit.

Aside from the Peeps candies and the cookie kit, there weren’t any other food items. (There may have been more, but those where the only ones I found) Despite this, there were many other Peep Brand merchandise, including a lot of arts and craft kits!

One of the craft kits that caught my eye is fused bead kits. There were two types of kits available at the store I was at. The first kit creates a chick shape…

And the second creates a rabbit shape…

I have friends that have children that love fused bead kits. Seeing the kits made me smile and wonder if my friends’ children will like them.

Even though I wondered if the bead kits would be great for my friend’s children, I think they would prefer this Peeps Brand fused bead kit more…

The kit creates an Easter house and two figures, the chick and rabbit, that can stand on their own. The box says there are 10,000 beads in the kit, so I think my friend’s children will be busy making it for a while.
