Every year, I look for new ornaments to purchase and add to my Christmas decor collection. One of the brands I like to search for and purchase is Swarovski. Over the years, I purchased multiple collectable ornaments from Swarovski. This year, I really liked the style of their 2023 annual star ornament. I found one on sale earlier this year and purchased it.

Since I am doing Blogmas, I decided to write a review about the ornament I purchased. I never wrote a review post on this blog about the Swarovski ornaments I purchased in the past, so this is a first!

Lenox 2022 Snow Fantasies Cross and Snowflake Ornament Review

This year, I restricted my Christmas decor as much as I could. Even though I like to buy my favorite Christmas decor every year and add it to my Christmas decoration collection, this year I didn’t find many items I wanted. Even though I didn’t find many items I wanted, I did find many ornaments I liked. I purchased quite a few of them this year, but they are mainly from Hallmark.

Even though Hallmark had plenty of ornaments I wanted, there weren’t many expensive and high end ornaments I wanted. I felt the ornament’s quality is not as nice as in previous years. I felt this way for all the ornaments except for a handful of ornements. After thinking about if I wanted them or not, I found two of the ornaments I liked from Lenox was on sale for a really good price. I decided to purchase them and add them to my collection. Searching, and Finding, a Replacement of One of the First Self-Purchased Christmas Tree Ornaments

When I was about 18 to 19 years old, I decided to buy myself really nice, high end ornaments. I didn’t think I would use them right away, but I assumed that it would be one of my only chances to buy them and not feel guilty about it. Also, the Great Recession was starting to take hold, so the quality, availability, and price point of these ornaments would change sooner rather than later. This is why buying these ornaments was so important to me.

One of the first ornaments I purchased is a Lenox ornament. Its official name is Star of Bethlehem and was released in 2007. I purchased it because the shape is very attractive. I also knew it had 24K gold on it, so it fit into the category of ornaments I wanted to purchase.

Over the years, it became one of my favorite ornaments. It fit into any style I used to decorate and I loved looking at it. Even though I loved it, it was broken by a relative I took care of for many years.

Bath and Body Works Semi Annual Sale 2020 Haul

I know the 2020 Bath and Body Works Semi Annual Sale ended last month, but I still wanted to write a post about everything I purchased at the sale. I didn’t go to the sale until a few days after it began. Even though I believed I would be able to buy all the body wash and wallflowers I wanted, this past sale was very popular and most of the items I wanted sold out before I went to the store. Even though I missed out on buying everything I wanted, I did find some things I wanted to buy and own. Favorite Walmart Christmas Tree Ornaments for 2020

After shopping at Walmart’s Christmas section for the past few weeks, I found a few Christmas tree ornaments that stood out to me and quickly became my favorites. Although it’s still November, I wanted to share some photographs of my favorite ornaments. Hallmark Gold Crown 2020 Digital Dream Book

Since Covid-19/Coronavirus has closed all Hallmark Gold Crown stores, there will be no release party for the Dream Book. If you never heard of Hallmark’s Dream Book, it is a magazine style book available at Hallmark stores. The Dream Book has all the Christmas tree ornaments that will be on sale that year, what month they will be on sale. and how much it will cost. Every May I try to make an effort to go into a Hallmark store and pick up a hard copy of the Dream Book, but this May will be different. Like I said, Hallmark stores are closed where I live and I don’t know when they will be open again. Despite this, Hallmark has a digital, PDF version of the book available on their website!

Even though it’s very early to think about Christmas, I’m so happy to see the Dream Book. I didn’t have the chance to look through it, but I am looking forward to see all the ornaments that will be for sale this year!

I’m a huge Disney fan and one of my favorite Disney movies is 101 Dalmatians. I love the animated version as well as the live action movie staring Glen Close. Despite my love of 101 Dalmatians, it’s difficult to find merchandise from the animated movie.

Ornament Feature: Rodarte’s Target x Neiman Marcus Glass Ornament

Earlier this year, while cleaning out my things from my parent’s house, I discovered a box filled with old ornaments I purchased years ago. I packed them away because I intended to move out of the house and take them with me, but eight years later they still sat in my parent’s house, waiting for me to pick them up and take them to my new home. Seeing them took me down memory lane, so I decided to pick a few ornaments from the box and talk about them and the special memories I have of them.
