Movies I’m Looking Forward to Watch During Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas 2022

It’s that time of the year when the Hallmark Channel will premiere their new Christmas romance movies! Some may not enjoy it, but I do. I don’t always get to see every single new movie, but I am excited to see what kind of movies Hallmark created for the new holiday season.

This year, the movies will start to premiere on Friday, October 21, 2022. From October 21st to December 18th, there will be one new movie premiere every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The only difference is on Thanksgiving week, when there will be a new movie premiere on on Thursday, November 24 AKA Thanksgiving. The Friday, Saturday, and Sunday after Thanksgiving will have two new movie premieres every day instead of one. A print off of the movie premiere schedule is available on the Hallmark Channel’s website.

I am very excited to see every new movie that premieres, but there are always movies that stand out to me more than others. I want to mention those movies in a post, in case anyone is wondering what kind of Hallmark movies I enjoy watching and will probably like. Not every movie will suit everyone’s taste, but I hope you find a movie on my list that you may enjoy as well!

Book Review: Love by Chance by Kacy Cross

When my favorite Hallmark Gold Crown store was closing, I went inside to do some last time shopping. While in there, I found a few books and DVDs from Hallmark still available. They were on sale for a deep discount, so I decided to buy them. One of the books I purchased was Love by Chance by Kacy Cross.

I wanted to read it first before the other books I purchased because it is not a Christmas themed novel. The other two novel I purchased are Christmas themed novels. Movie Review: Hallmark Channel’s Christmas at Dollywood (2019)

Last year, while on a visit to one of my friend’s home, we talked about Hallmark Channel Christmas movies. We talked about how silly and ridiculous many of them are as well as some of our favorites. One of my friends suggested I watch Christmas at Dollywood whenever it comes out on DVD. It sounded like a movie I would enjoy watching, especially since Dolly Parton is in the movie, so I made sure to keep an eye out for a DVD of it. After searching, I finally found one at my closest Walmart in October. I bought it and, after watching it, I can finally say what think of the movie. Movie Review- Hallmark Hall of Fame’s The Love Letter

In the 1990’s, before the Hallmark Channel was the Hallmark Channel, there was the Hallmark Hall of Fame on CBS. I remember watching the Hallmark Hall of Fame movies on Sundays during holiday season, specifically Christmas time. Although there are some movies I really didn’t like, there was a few that stood out to me as my favorites. One of those movies is called The Love Letter.

Although I plan to review Hallmark Channel Christmas movies this year for Blogmas, I wanted to review this movie first because it was the first Hallmark movie I ever saw and is to this day one of my favorite Hallmark movies ever. Sneaking a Peek At Hallmark’s 2020 Ornaments

Earlier this week, I had to go to mall to return some items. While waiting for the stores to open, I walked around the mall to see what’s different and what isn’t. The mall I went to has a Hallmark store inside, so I peeked inside the windows to see what’s there. That’s when I saw the set up for Hallmark’s ornament premiere that would happen later in the week.

The store was closed at that time, so I took a photograph of what ornaments the front of the store had on display and some of the decorations for it…

I didn’t go inside when the store opened, but when I looked through the windows I could see some of the ornaments already on display, but not available for sale.

I’m sad I won’t be able to go to this year’s Ornament Premiere. I decided not to go on Saturday or Sunday because it’s going to be ridiculously hot those days (Saturday will be 116 degrees and Sunday will be 117 degrees) and the earliest the stores will be open is 11 AM. 11 AM is too late in the day to escape at least some of the hot temperatures, so I will shop the event next week when temperatures will be a little bit cooler.

Hallmark Gold Crown 2020 Digital Dream Book

Since Covid-19/Coronavirus has closed all Hallmark Gold Crown stores, there will be no release party for the Dream Book. If you never heard of Hallmark’s Dream Book, it is a magazine style book available at Hallmark stores. The Dream Book has all the Christmas tree ornaments that will be on sale that year, what month they will be on sale. and how much it will cost. Every May I try to make an effort to go into a Hallmark store and pick up a hard copy of the Dream Book, but this May will be different. Like I said, Hallmark stores are closed where I live and I don’t know when they will be open again. Despite this, Hallmark has a digital, PDF version of the book available on their website!

Even though it’s very early to think about Christmas, I’m so happy to see the Dream Book. I didn’t have the chance to look through it, but I am looking forward to see all the ornaments that will be for sale this year!

Ornament Feature: Celebration Barbie Hallmark Ornament

Christmas is almost here and I’m so excited! I enjoyed decorating my house this year and even had the chance to put my tree up! Although my tree is not big enough to hang all my ornaments on it, I’m still happy with the way it turned out!

Ornament Feature: 101 Dalmatians Pongo Saves the Day Hallmark Ornament

I’m a huge Disney fan and one of my favorite Disney movies is 101 Dalmatians. I love the animated version as well as the live action movie staring Glen Close. Despite my love of 101 Dalmatians, it’s difficult to find merchandise from the animated movie.

October 2019 Favorites

Hallmark Gold Crown Keepsake Ornament Wish List- July 2019

This weekend, Hallmark Gold Crown stores will hold their Ornament Premier Event. Even though I’m not ready to get ready for Christmas (Though I’ve already found some Christmas presents for family & friends), I am excited to go to the Premier Event. I always enjoy shopping for ornaments and get excited to find new ornaments I love and will enjoy for years to come.

Since this is the first weekend the ornaments will be for sale, I decided to make my annual ornament wish list post, only this year it will be a little different. Since Hallmark releases their ornaments in waves, I will be splitting my wish list up to coincide with the different release weekends. This wish list is for the July 2019 releases.
