Some of My Current Favorite Fragrances- August 2025

As I have already mentioned in a previous post, which you can read here, I am doing a lot of things in my house. One of the things I’m doing is cleaning out my things and attempting to reduce the amount of clutter in my house. As an attempt to take a break from this often overwhelming task, I’ve been going through my old fragrance collection and deciding which ones I want to keep and which ones I don’t.

Right now, I have some fragrances I want to get rid of. Yet, after going through my things, I found several fragrances I really love the smell of and want to keep.

In order to celebrate the fact I have found fragrances I want to keep, I wanted to mention all the fragrances that stood out to me this month as really enjoyable scents. The list is not a list of fragrances I’m currently wearing nor will I include the reasons why I love them so much. This is just a list of fragrances I smelled while going through my fragrance collection and realized how much I really do love them!

Beauty Product Favorites- June 2024

June 2024 was a rough month for me. Along with stress from work (And other life related stress), there was no water to my house for three days and a power outage on a day when outdoor temperatures were over 115 degrees Fahrenheit. None of these things helped my ongoing healing from my eczema flare up from last year.

Even though I went through some pretty stressful situations last month, my eczema didn’t flare up too badly. In fact, I was able to calm it down enough that my skin swelling decressed more than it was at the beginning of the month! I credit this to my change in lifestyle by focusing more on sitting down and resting more often, ridding my life of stressors (Thus why I’m so interested in declutting and cleaning), and a major change in beauty products I use.

I made major changes since December in the kind of products I use and why. As an extra layer of precaution, I am not using any fragrances. I have an idea when I will start to wear them again, but it probably won’t be until November at the earliest. Also, I am also not wearing much makeup. The makeup I do wear is the same products in the same color. All these things have improved my skin condition and made swelling go down.

Even though my beauty favorites for June 2024 are either very eczema friendly products or are old makeup products I may have talked about before in the past, I still wanted to write a post dedicated to them. They are truly my beauty favorites for the month and, even though they may not provide a lot of inspiration to anyone looking for new products, they are something I am using and work very well to care for my body and my overall health.

6 Favorite Summer Fragrances for 2024

The summer months are some of the hottest months of the year. For many fragrance lovers, this means changing their fragrances to accommodate the warmer temperatures. These temperatures can change how a fragrance smells on a person’s skin, so it is important to take into consideration.

For summer 2024, I realized I really love the way the fragrances I already own work for the summer time. I wanted to share six of my favorite fragrances and fragrance lines that I already own and think would be for the summer. I hope this list will inspire your fragrance choices this summer!

Favorite Beauty Products for April 2024

It’s the last day of April and I am focused on the beginning of May! I’m really excited for it to start. Even though I’m excited for May, I wanted to reflect on certain things that happened during April. One of the things I reflected on are the beauty products I really liked and used during the month. Favorite Beauty Products for 2023

Beauty Favorites for February 2023

It’s been quite some time since I wrote a post about my monthly beauty favorites. Since my last post, I have been trying new products I found, but not all of them made me happy. Usually they irritated my skin or did something else that made me disregard them as a potential beauty favorite. In February, I went back to some old beauty favorites of mine, which made me want to write a new beauty favorite post. I also realized I didn’t mention one product I really like using online because I didn’t know how well it would work. I’ve been using it for over a year and am happy with the results, so I decided to include it in February 2023’s beauty favorites.

Favorite Beauty Advent Calendars from Ulta Beauty- 2021

Every December, I like to open an advent calendar. I usually like to open a chocolate advent calendar, but for the past few years I tired to open a beauty advent calendar. Opening beauty advent calendars can sometimes be hit or miss because the products may not be worth the price of the calendar. Still, I like looking at them to see what kind of calendars are available and at what price.

While browsing the calendars available for sale, I found many calendars available at Ulta Beauty. Some of the calendars are available online only while others are also only available at Ulta Beauty. Since they had so many calendars, I wanted to share my favorite calendars Ulta currently sells.
