Some of My Current Favorite Fragrances- August 2025

As I have already mentioned in a previous post, which you can read here, I am doing a lot of things in my house. One of the things I’m doing is cleaning out my things and attempting to reduce the amount of clutter in my house. As an attempt to take a break from this often overwhelming task, I’ve been going through my old fragrance collection and deciding which ones I want to keep and which ones I don’t.

Right now, I have some fragrances I want to get rid of. Yet, after going through my things, I found several fragrances I really love the smell of and want to keep.

In order to celebrate the fact I have found fragrances I want to keep, I wanted to mention all the fragrances that stood out to me this month as really enjoyable scents. The list is not a list of fragrances I’m currently wearing nor will I include the reasons why I love them so much. This is just a list of fragrances I smelled while going through my fragrance collection and realized how much I really do love them!

Chloe Coffret Fragrance Gift Set

A few months ago I mentioned that I ordered a sample of Chloe’s Love Story Eude de Parfum. I wanted to buy Love Story in a bigger bottle than my sample, but, since I was still unsure how my sensitive lungs would take the scent, I decided to hold back buying the full size bottle until I had more time to thing about it.

While browsing Sephora, I came across a Chloe fragrance gift set called Chloe Coffret Gift Set. This gift set included two small bottles of Chloe perfumes, including Love Story. I was very excited to see it and was even more excited to see the set was only $20 USD. Even though I bought it a while ago, wanted to talk about the set in a post without discussing the fragrances and my allergies.

August 2017 Sephora Haul

I know it’s October, but I wanted to talk about my order from Sephora in August.

I normally purchase a jar of Glam Glow’s Super Glam Mud every month, but this month I still had enough mud in the jar that I didn’t need to buy more for a while. Since I didn’t need to buy another jar, I was free to buy anything I wanted from Sephora, as long as it was in my budget.

Sephora Fragrance Samples-June 2017

Sorry this post is so late! Life got suddenly became very busy, so I had to put this post on hold longer than I wanted to.

In early June 2017, I ordered new makeup from Sephora. If you ordered from Sephora’s website before, you know that Sephora lets you order three free samples with your order. These do change, so it’s the luck of the draw for what Sephora lets you order as free samples. This month, I felt like I hit the free sample jackpot. Three fragrances were on the free sample list were fragrances I wanted to try: Dior’s Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming, Chloe’s Love Story, and Philosophy’s Amazing Grace.

Even though I’ve heard wonderful things about all three fragrances, I’m very hesitant about purchasing fragrances, expectantly high end designer fragrances such as ones from Dior and Chanel. This is because I’ve had a sensitivity to perfumes, colones, and body sprays smell for most of my life. Since I have sensitive lungs, I don’t normally wear any sort of fragrance and didn’t want to purchase any of these fragrances without sampling smelling it first.
