Beauty Favorites for February 2023
It’s been quite some time since I wrote a post about my monthly beauty favorites. Since my last post, I have been trying new products I found, but not all of them made me happy. Usually they irritated my skin or did something else that made me disregard them as a potential beauty favorite. In February, I went back to some old beauty favorites of mine, which made me want to write a new beauty favorite post. I also realized I didn’t mention one product I really like using online because I didn’t know how well it would work. I’ve been using it for over a year and am happy with the results, so I decided to include it in February 2023’s beauty favorites.
Silicone Facial Cleansing Pads
I purchased silicone facial cleansing pads over a year ago to help clean the pores in my face. I have a serious pore problem that I’ve struggled with since I was a teenager. Today, after changing my facial care routine and getting my allergies under control, I am doing much better. Still, I like to look for products that could help me long term. When I saw silicone facial cleansing pads, I didn’t think much of them. After passing by them often in the store, I decided to purchase them. Now, a year later, I am very happy I use them! They make cleaning out my pores much easier. They also helped with my breakouts. So far I’m still in love with these cleansing pads and don’t want to stop using them!
Shea Moisture Restorative Conditioner
This isn’t the first time Shea Moisture Restorative Conditioner is on my beauty favorites list, but I wanted to add it to this February’s list. I had some problems with hair hydration in February, so I started using the Restorative Conditioner again. Sometimes, it makes my hair too greasy. It depends on what I’m doing or the time of the year, but This is why I need to take time off using it. After taking time off using the conditioner, I needed to use it again. As usual, it worked really well at rehydrating my hair.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream
I purchased a tube of First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream last year and have used it on and off ever since. In February, I continued using the cream to moisturize my skin. Even though this is not the first time I used the cream, I am very happy to have it on hand. I really like the cream a lot and I prefer it to the other cheeper facial creams I tried over the years.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Oatmeal Mask
Like the Ultra Repair Cream, I used the First Aid Beauty’s Ultra Repair Oatmeal Mask a lot in February. I needed to moisturize my face a lot last month and, like the Ultra Repair Cream, the Oatmeal Mask did the job. Since it is a mask, I didn’t need to use it as much as the cream. Yet, it was very effective and made my skin feel much softer.
Garnier SkinActive Micellar Foaming Gel Cleanser
I really liked using Garnier’s Micellar Foaming Gel Cleanser, but I stopped using it for a while. I do this to my favorite beauty products every now and then for several reasons. In February, I went back to using it again and am very happy I did so. The SkinActive Micellar line of products do a great job cutting through any sort of built up oils on my skin without stripping all oils from it. I’m very happy I went back to using the gel cleanser!
Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleaning Water
The final product I loved using in February is Garnier’s Micellar Cleansing Water. I haven’t been wearing makeup a lot, so I didn’t need to use it for a while. In February, I started using it as a way to clean my face after a serious allergy attack from outdoor allergens. It works extremely well for this purpose and I found myself favorite it over any other face wash I usually use. It also soothed my skin enough to make my skin not feel irritated. I am very happy I discovered another use for the Cleansing Water and plan on continuing to use it for general face cleansing instead of makeup removal.
Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
