Favorite Dior Dresses from the Fall/Winter 2020-2021 Haute Couture Collection

Dior released the video of their fall/winter 2020-2021 haute couture collection on July 6, 2020. The video, which can be seen on YouTube here, popped up on my YouTube recommendations the day before it premiered. When July 6, 2020 arrived, I sat down, watched it, and loved so many of the designs from the collection. I had a hard time picking out dresses I liked from Dior since Maria Grazia Chiuri took over as head designer. Although there are many designs I liked, I also felt like it wasn’t something I could wear with normal curves to my body. It was frustrating to see a fashion house I loved growing up but now as an adult can’t wear. But the 2020-2021 collection was an exception.

There are many dresses I would love to own, if I was going somewhere I needed to wear a formal dress, as well as an 1890’s style dress that makes my Steampunk side excited to see as “fashionable” in 2020. Because there are so many dresses I love, I wanted to feature my favorite dresses in this collection.

Bath and Body Works Body Wash Haul- June 2020

I placed and order from Bath and Body Works’ website in June 2020 for body washes and wallflowers. I wanted to buy them in store, but at that time the nearest Bath and Body Works was closed. So, the only way to buy anything from Bath and Body Works was online. On the day I placed my order, there was a buy three get three free sale on body washes, including the retired fragrances. Since I wanted to buy body washes, I decided to use this opportunity to buy all the retired fragrances I wanted to buy, but never did because they were unavailable in store. Sneaking a Peek At Hallmark’s 2020 Ornaments

Earlier this week, I had to go to mall to return some items. While waiting for the stores to open, I walked around the mall to see what’s different and what isn’t. The mall I went to has a Hallmark store inside, so I peeked inside the windows to see what’s there. That’s when I saw the set up for Hallmark’s ornament premiere that would happen later in the week.

The store was closed at that time, so I took a photograph of what ornaments the front of the store had on display and some of the decorations for it…

I didn’t go inside when the store opened, but when I looked through the windows I could see some of the ornaments already on display, but not available for sale.

I’m sad I won’t be able to go to this year’s Ornament Premiere. I decided not to go on Saturday or Sunday because it’s going to be ridiculously hot those days (Saturday will be 116 degrees and Sunday will be 117 degrees) and the earliest the stores will be open is 11 AM. 11 AM is too late in the day to escape at least some of the hot temperatures, so I will shop the event next week when temperatures will be a little bit cooler.

Mario Badescu Botanical Exfoliating Scrub Review

Last year, during the spring 2019 Ulta Beauty 21 Days of Beauty sale, a few Mario Badescu products were on sale for 50% off. One of them was the botanical exfoliating scrub. At that time I knew I would need a new face scrub, so I picked up a tube for when my then scrub ran out. Favorites from Target’s Designer Dress Collection in June 2020

Today, Target will release their Designer Dress Collection. The collection has designs by designers Lisa Marie Fernadez, LoveShackFancy, and Cushnie. I love looking at Target’s Designer Collections to see if there is anything I would like to buy, but for this collection I tentatively decided not to buy anything. Books I Want to Read- May 2020

It’s hot outside here in Arizona, so it’s a great time to stay inside and read. The biggest problem I have with saying inside to read is cabin fever set in and I want to go outside more than stay inside. Yet, the heat makes me stay where the temperature is nice a cool.
