Movie Review: Jingle All The Way (1996)

During the 1990’s, there seemed to be a lot of holiday themed movies targeted to children. I didn’t mind this because I was a child back then and loved nearly every single movie released during this time. One of the movies that I really loved back then was Jingle All The Way.

In October 2021, YouTube allowed Jingle All The Way to be watched for free with ads. I took advantage of this and re watched the movie. I really enjoyed watching the movie again, so I decided to write a movie review about it for Blogmas 2021. Continue reading “Movie Review: Jingle All The Way (1996)”

Movie Review- A Nashville Christmas (2020)

Last year, when the Hallmark Channel announced their Countdown to Christmas lineup for 2020, they announced many movies that peeked my interest. One of the movies I wanted to watch the most is A Nashville Christmas Carol. It was advertised to have multiple country singers in the movie playing characters. Because of the country singers, and the fact it has a country music feel to the whole entire story, I wanted to watch the movie.

In November, the Walmart closest to where I live put out the Hallmark Channel Christmas movies on DVD. One of the movies they put out was A Nashville Christmas Carol. Once I saw it, I picked up a copy and, when I had the time, I watched the movie. Continue reading “Movie Review- A Nashville Christmas (2020)”

Movie Review: A Christmas Love Story (2019)

In 2019, the Hallmark Channel announced one of their new movies for their Countdown to Christmas will be a movie called A Christmas Love Story. It interested me, but I didn’t think about watching it until I found out one of the stars of the movie is Kristen Chenoweth. I am a fan of Kristen Chenoweth, so I knew I would like to watch the movie. Unfortunately, I did not have the Hallmark Channel so I waited until the movie was released on DVD to watch it.

Movie Review- A Christmas in Tennessee (2018)

A while ago, I discovered a two DVD set of two Lifetime Christmas movies. The movies peaked my interest, so I purchased the DVD to watch. Since then, I watched the movies and decided to write reviews about them.

The first movie I watched is called A Christmas in Tennessee. It stars Rachel Boston, Andrew Walker, Kate Moyer, and Bill Essiembre with Caroline Rhea, and Patricia Richardson. It is about Allison Bennet (Boston), a single mother of a daughter that lives in White Pines, a fictional small town in Tennessee’s mountains. She lives in the same building as a bakery she and her mother (Richardson) run together. As Christmas grows closer, Allison, who is struggling to keep up with her bills because of slow business, meets Matthew (Walker), a real estate broker who, with his very pushy and opportunistic assistant, works at a development firm that wants to buy the whole town of White Pines and turn it into a high end ski resort. At the same time, Allison’s daughter’s letter to Santa Claus, which asks to bring more business to the bakery, blows away. The loss of the letter eventually leads a woman with white hair that looks similar to Mrs. Claus (Rhea) to visit the bakery with the intention of finding cookies that she and her husband can offer to guests at their Christmas Day party. Movie Review: A Very Merry Mix-Up (2013)

Earlier this month, I wrote a review about the movie, The Christmas Ornament. I purchased it as part of a movie set of four movies from the Hallmark Channel. Since I already watched one movie, I decided to watch another. This time, I picked A Very Merry Mix-up. Continue reading “Movie Review: A Very Merry Mix-Up (2013)”

Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Celebration Eau de Perfume Review

Every year, Victoria’s Secret releases two limited edition versions of their Bombshell fragrances. There is one fragrance released for the summertime and a second for the holiday/Christmas season. Sometimes I liked these fragrances, but sometimes I don’t.

This year’s holiday fragrance is called Bombshell Celebration. It has fragrance notes that peaked my interest, so I purchased a bottle to try and see if I’d enjoy.

Victoria’s Secret Pink Vanilla Snow Body Mist Review

Every season, Victoria’s Secret releases new fragrances for the new season. These limited-edition fragrances are part of Victoria’s Secret main line of fragrances, but they also release limited edition body mists under their Pink label. I sometimes like these limited-edition mists more than the main line of fragrances that are available year-round. This year, I didn’t find many fragrances in the Pink line that I enjoyed for any season, but I did like one fragrance from their winter collection: Vanilla Snow.

Since it is a limited-edition fragrance, and it seems to be very popular, I wanted to write a review about it for Blogmas 2021. This way it could possibly still be available for purchase for anyone who is curious about the scent as well.

Nostalgia Holiday Mini Waffle Makers

Recently, while browsing the holiday section of my local Walmart, I found they have holiday themed Nostalgia mini waffle makers. My local Walmart is in a rural area and has problems receiving stock due to the supply chain problems that affect everyone this holiday season. Because of this, when I saw the waffle makers, I was surprised. There were many waffle makers with different designs and it was well stocked.

Even though I wanted to buy all of them, I know it was impossible to put into storage and I really don’t need to own that many waffle makers. Especially with my current living situation. Despite this, my friends are looking for them and would love to buy them. I took photographs of them to show my friends, but I also wanted to share the photographs in a post during Blogmas.

Victoria’s Secret 2021 Holiday Packaging

During the holiday season, brands sometimes use holiday themed bags for anyone who purchases something from their store. Starbucks is one of the best-known brands, releasing holiday themed cups every year. This year, Victoria’s Secret started to use special packaging for the holidays. I really liked the look of the packaging, so I wanted to dedicate a post to the style and design of the holiday 2021 bags, tissue paper, gift wrap, and more.

I Heart Revolution x Elf Makeup Collection at Ulta Beauty

During a recent shopping trip to Ulta Beauty, I saw the I Heart Revolution x Elf makeup collection display. I knew there was a collaboration between I Heart Revolution and the beloved Christmas movie Elf, but I didn’t think there would be enough items from the collection available in store to look at. Even though the store was busy that day, I was able to take some photographs of the collection for a blog post. Continue reading “I Heart Revolution x Elf Makeup Collection at Ulta Beauty”
