nostalgia – The Estella Initiative

If you write blog posts on WordPress, then you probably have seen on the blog dashboard (Called My Home) that WordPress has a section called Daily Prompt. In it, they share an idea for a post that you can answer. I considered if I should answer some of the prompts last month, but I didn’t due to Blogmas.

This month, and this year if everything goes well, I decided to answer some of the prompts. These posts will be in addition to any other posts I write on this blog. I want to do this because I sometimes struggle talking about myself on social media. Usually, I talk about my opinions and things I make. Not who I am and what I think about more personal topics. I hope answering these writing prompts will help my blog readers to get to know me better!

Recently, while browsing the holiday section of my local Walmart, I found they have holiday themed Nostalgia mini waffle makers. My local Walmart is in a rural area and has problems receiving stock due to the supply chain problems that affect everyone this holiday season. Because of this, when I saw the waffle makers, I was surprised. There were many waffle makers with different designs and it was well stocked.

Even though I wanted to buy all of them, I know it was impossible to put into storage and I really don’t need to own that many waffle makers. Especially with my current living situation. Despite this, my friends are looking for them and would love to buy them. I took photographs of them to show my friends, but I also wanted to share the photographs in a post during Blogmas.
