It’s the day after Mermorial day, which means it’s summer travel season! Summertime is the time to travel and, even though I won’t be traveling anywhere (Subject to change), I think about where I would like to travel to if I knew I would be going somewhere. One of the trips I would like to go on is a road trip around Arizona. I’m a life long Arizonan, but there are so many places in Arizona I never traveled to or traveled to when I was a kid. While shopping for Christmas presents at Sephora in 2018, I received a free travel mini set along with my order. Although I was very excited to receive it, I was so busy with Christmas I unable to look at it closely or test any of the products in it. While doing some winter cleaning this year, I rediscovered it and realized it was something I really needed at that time.

I’ve attended the festival every year since 2010 and a few years I had the season pass. After going so often, I learned some things about the festival, how to save money, and when the best times to go are. Since the festival starts this week, I wanted to share what I know so if anyone goes, they can enjoy it as well. I’ve attended the Arizona Renaissance Festival only, so I cannot say if these tips will help others while attending other festivals, but I hope they will give some ideas to make going to a festival less stressful.

Last week, on a whim and encouragement from a sale, I went shopping at JcPenny’s and Dillard’s. Since this is Blogmas, I decided to take some photos while I shopped to show what I saw in the stores as well as what I found in stores. If you knew me when I was growing up, you’d know I never made it a secret I wanted to travel when I grew up. When I became an adult, I was unable to travel due to health problems. Since then, I’ve healed a great deal and would like to travel, but I do not have everything I believe I will need to travel with. While searching for travel items in stores, I began to form a list of items I wish I would be given for Christmas, birthdays, or any other special time as a gift.
