5 Summertime Prep Ideas for Vehicles

During the summertime, vehicles are used more than in other times of the year. There are road trip, tips to day camps for children (If they are open despite the pandemic), and other places that would require the vehicle to travel farther than it normally does. That also does not count the fact warmer temperatures can cause the vehicle to run differently and potentially cause problems if the vehicle is not looked after or checked on regularly.

Because of this, I wanted to write a post about five summertime prep ideas for a vehicle. These ideas are basic maintenance for the vehicle, but it is more important to do this before driving in the summer. The ideas I’m including in this post are not everything you should check if you want to do a complete pre summer vehicle maintenance. If you want to have a complete vehicle maintenance, please contact your favorite auto mechanic to know what they will check and how much it will cost.

6 Rides I Want to Ride at Disneyland (2022)

Every now and then, I fall down a rabbit hole of theme park videos on YouTube. Usually I binge watch them whenever I sew or do anything that allows me to watch a video, TV show, or movie on in the background. After the beginning of the pandemic, I began to desire to travel to Disneyland or Walt Disney World as soon as things calmed down. As of this post, I’m not planning on visiting the parks for a vacation, but I still am dreaming of going

Even though I’m not going to the parks, I have an ever constant list of rides I want to ride when I get there. After watching so many videos, I wanted to write a few posts about the rides at Disneyland and Walt Disney World I want to ride the most. Since Disneyland is the closet to where I live, I’m going to start with the six rides I want to ride on the most at Disneyland in 2022. This post will cover the Disneyland rides only. I will be talking about the rides I want to ride on in California Adventure in a different post. Continue reading “6 Rides I Want to Ride at Disneyland (2022)”

5 Arizona Events I’m Looking Forward to in 2022 (Or Fall 2021)

For the past few weeks, I learned events I wanted to go to in 2020 will be held in the fall of 2021 or in 2022. I’m very excited about this and, after looking at my list of events I wanted to go to in 2020, I made a list of events I would like to go to in the fall of this year or in 2022. I’m not sure I will be able to go to everything I want to (Work schedule and things happening in my life are the main causes for my uncertainty), but there are five events that top my list.

Favorite Things I Found at Marshall’s- August 2020

While on a shopping trip at Marshall’s in August 2020, I found many items I liked but didn’t purchase. During this shopping trip, I wanted to limit the amount of items I purchased, so, even though I liked many items I saw, I decided to buy only the items I knew I would need and use within the next month or so.

Despite limiting what I can purchase, I took plenty of photographs of items I liked as I shopped. Continue reading “Favorite Things I Found at Marshall’s- August 2020”

5 Places to Go to I Don’t Miss During Quarantine

After missing going places due to the shut downs and quarantine due to Covid-19/Coronavirus, I tried to cheer myself up by thinking of all the places I don’t miss going to because of the shut downs. Although it was originally harder to think of places I don’t miss going to, I began to feel much better about not being able to go. 5 Events and Places to Go I Miss During Quarantine

The last time I went anywhere “fun” (Aside from the mall and grocery stores) was March, before lock downs and quarantines happened. I didn’t think too much about missing going places for fun due to the fact I was very nervous about my health, but now I can honestly say there are places I do miss going to and miss looking forward to attending or planning for. So, here are my top five events and places I miss going to during quarantine. Continue reading “5 Events and Places to Go I Miss During Quarantine”

My Disneyland Ride Bucket List 2020

Walt Disney World recently reopened after being closed to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Even though Disneyland is still closed, if I were to travel to a Disneyland park it would be Disneyland. Although there is a huge debate about which is better, Disney World or Disneyland, I prefer Disneyland because it’s the first park and it closest to where I live.

I’m not doing any traveling right now, but that doesn’t seem to stop me from making plans for a future vacation to Disneyland. Although it will take me a while before I visit Disneyland again, I made a bucket list of rides I want to go on as soon as I visit Disneyland again. What I Got Myself for Christmas 2019

Now that Christmas and New Year’s are over, I think it’s finally safe to admit I’m guilty of buying myself some Christmas gifts this year. Actually I purchased myself more items during the holiday season than I did gifts. Some may read this as being selfish and only thinking of myself this year instead of others, but in truth I actually needed the things I purchased for myself. Plus, most of the items I purchased are seasonal while others came in gift sets and can only be purchased during the holiday season.

After buying things for myself, a few items stood out to me as more “gifts to myself” than things I actually needed. Even though it’s January, I wanted to share all the items I purchased myself that I didn’t need but wanted (and can use) anyway.

The Rhythm Cats’ Christmas Show at The Silver Star Theater Review

Earlier this month, I was invited to go to the Silver Star Theater to see the Rhythm Cats’ Christmas Show. The Silver Star Theater is a dinner theater that features a variety of shows ranging from variety shows to covers of well known singers and songwriters as well as genres. The Rhythm Cats Show is what I would consider the star of the Silver Star and is the band that performs the majority of the cover shows. You can read more about the Rhythm Cats Show and the Silver Star Theater at the Silver Star Theater’s website here.

I’ve been to the Silver Star Theater before, but, unfortunately didn’t know the name of the theater I would be going to before the show. (I’m not sure why, but the group that invited me didn’t tell me the name of the theater until I was in the vehicle.) Although I’ve been to the theater before, it’s been a few years so I was excited to go again.

When I arrived at the theater, it looked the way I remembered it. I didn’t think of taking photographs for a post until the announcements stated that photographs could be taken but no video. So, I took out my camera and started taking photographs for my blog.

By the way, this post is not sponsored and my ticket was purchased by the group I went with. (I purchased the tickets to the other Silver Star Theater shows I attended before this one) All the opinions in this post are my own and I do not receive any compensation for this post. Minnie Mouse Ear Headband Haul- August 2019

Last month, I discovered the Disney Store online had some items I wanted and needed on sale. I picked up some of the items I needed, but I also picked up some items I didn’t need, such as multiple Minnie Mouse ear headbands. I have no plans to go to Disneyland or Walt Disney World, so I feel a little silly to own so many new ears when I won’t use them for some time, but I don’t have very many Micky Mouse ears and no Minnie Mouse ears, so I thought it would be a great idea to pick some up while they were available and on sale.
