5 Reasons I Love (and 5 Reasons Why I Hate) This Month in Arizona- February

It is a new month, which means many things. For me, it is a time to plan what to do in the area where I live. There are pros and cons to live in every area, including the area where I live. I live in Arizona and many people think Arizona is one of the best states to live in. Even though Arizona has a lot of great reasons to love living here, there are also problems. Some of these problems are seasonal and/or monthly. Because of this, I decided to write a post every month about five reasons why I love Arizona and five why I don’t. For the month of February, I like it in Arizona. Yet, there are plenty of reasons why I don’t.

Some of those reasons changed as I got older, but I have found the reasons why I love January is sometimes is directly connected with the fact I live in Arizona. Thoughts About A Recent Refreshing Hike in the Arizona Desert

For many years, I would go out for a walk in the desert. The desert I like to walk around is near my relative’s home. The desert terrain ranges from easy to hike to moderately easy to hike. (It could be harder than I describe it.)

Recently, I went for a hike in the desert. While out there, I noticed things are changing in the desert. There are more homes built in the area, but that wasn’t what made me take notice of the changes in the desert. Instead, the desert itself is in a season of change.

6 Summer Staycation Ideas for 2022

This weekend is Memorial Day Weekend. It is the time when we remember those that passed away while serving, but it also is the unofficial start of summer. Many people will spend the three day weekend traveling and enjoying the season. This year, money is tight because of the economy. This means many will not be able to travel as much as they want to. Others will not be able to go far. Since many people will like to travel but be budget conscious, I wanted to talk about six summer staycation ideas that are great to use this year. Many of them are much more affordable than traveling long distances, but this does depend on the area where you live and were you feel comfortable traveling to. It also depends on the budget you have to spend on a vacation, as some of the ideas discussed in this post are more expensive than others. Continue reading “6 Summer Staycation Ideas for 2022”
