5 Reasons I Love (and 5 Reasons Why I Hate) This Month in Arizona- October

October has finally arrived in Arizona and it is the first month with many celebrations. Along with Halloween, Oktoberfest  and other seasonal festivals happen in the month. Pumpkins are in season and farms are open for pumpkin picking. This, and the cooler temperatures in comparison to the summer months, makes this month a month of outdoor fun and celebrations!

As with every month, October in Arizona has its down sides. Temperatures in certain areas in Arizona may not be cool enough for many people to actually call it fall. There have been years when Arizona’s temperatures are so warm they are 100 degrees or hotter.

Since Arizona is a mix of both good and bad, I compiled a list of five reasons I love Arizona in October and five reasons why I hate it.

6 More Things to Do in Arizona in the Fall

Last year, I published a post about eight things to do in Arizona during the fall. You can read that post here. This year, I decided to write another post about more things to do in Arizona. Fall is the season Arizona wakes up after a summer hibernation due to the heat, so there are a lot of things to do during the season!

For this post, I decided to focus on events and activities that would happen during the month I didn’t mention in my previous post.

5 Reasons I Love (and 5 Reasons Why I Hate) This Month in Arizona- September

It’s September and it’s the month when the Fall Equinox happens! So much happens during the fall in Arizona. Festivals and fairs start showing up again. Football has officially returned and the professional baseball season is starting to wind down, yet it is time to focus on playing well enough for a place in the playoff for the World Series. And new temperatures signal the end of summer.

Even though September is a month of change, many of them welcome changes, there are still some not so nice parts of living in Arizona during the month of September. I compiled a list of five reasons why I love Arizona in September and five reasons why I hate Arizona in September.

5 Reasons I Love (and 5 Reasons Why I Hate) This Month in Arizona- August

August is the month when the summer starts to wind down. In Arizona, it is an especially important time of the year. This is when the summer heat starts to weigh, storms are still around, but they are not always as fierce, and school starts for many students.

When planing for this month’s love and hate about Arizona post, I thought I would have problems finding things I didn’t like about the month. Instead, I struggled finding things I liked about it! For many years, living in Arizona during the month of August has not been really

Missing Disneyland and Watching Disneyland Livesteams to Ease My Wanderlust

It’s mid July and I’m officially calling it the summer when all I do is work and stay at home. Again. I had a feeling this summer wouldn’t be like other summers, and it hasn’t. Yet, when it comes to taking time off work and leaving my house for a vacation, that hasn’t changed.

Since the 4th of July, I decided to try to watch more enjoyable entertainment. There really isn’t much I want to watch on TV anymore, so I’m usually going though my stash of DVDs and watching things on YouTube while I work. I was thinking about watching some streaming shows instead, but I sometimes get too distracted to sit in front of the TV or computer to watch an episode all the way through. I feel more comfortable pausing and stopping DVDs and YouTube videos instead. One of the YouTube videos I began to watch are livestreams from Disneyland.

I really don’t like watching livestreams because anything can happen on them… and some of it isn’t good! I watched livestreams from Disneyland a few years ago because I missed the parks and wanted to see how everything has changed. Even though I was afraid to watch livestreams, I found one person I really liked and began watching his videos until I felt contented with Disneyland content.

On the 4th of July, I decided to watch the fireworks on the livestreams. I couldn’t go outside and watch fireworks from my house this year, so I thought this would be a great way to celebrate the 4th of July without needing to go outside. This ended up working out really well.

It’s been almost two weeks since I began to watch livestreams from Disneyland again and I’m really enjoying it! I miss Disneyland a lot and wish I could travel there this year. Although I’m not sure which livestreamer is my favorite, I have found two that run clean livestreams. (No cursing. No lewd comments. Ect.)

Even though I miss visiting Disneyland (And California Adventure) and exploring the parks myself, and wish I could go on a vacation, seeing the parks live from wherever I am has made me feel better. It has also given me ideas for where to go and what rides to ride!

That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!

5 Reasons I Love (and 5 Reasons Why Hate) This Month in Arizona- July

It’s finally July here in Arizona! It is the time of the year when, like the rest of the country, we celebrate the 4th of July, eat plenty of ice cream, and enjoy so many other luxuries that make summertime so enjoyable. Since I live in Arizona, I also have found some major downsides that come along with this month. (One of them being the heat and the monsoon storm season!)

Continuing my post series of why I love and hate all the months in Arizona, I found many things I don’t like about July. What surprised me was all the reasons why I love this month as well! I honestly thought I would struggle to find reasons why I love this month, but it came pretty easily.

5 Reasons I Love (and 5 Reasons Why Hate) This Month in Arizona- June

It’s June in Arizona, which means it’s summertime! Also, it means the hottest days of the year are here. Since June is a really hot month, it is normal to dwell on the bad parts of this month in Arizona. Instead of dwelling on all the bad, I try to focus on the good parts.

For this post, I want to list the five reasons why I love June in Arizona. I also want to list five reasons why I hate June in Arizona.

5 Reasons I Love (and 5 Reasons Why I Hate) This Month in Arizona- May

It’s May! Another month means so many great things will happen, but also there are some not so great things as well. As a resident in Arizona, there are both good things and bad things about this month. Since the weather is shifting completely to summer heat, it’s hard to see positive things about the month of May. Yet, there are still things I enjoy about it.

Continuing my post series about the five reasons I love and five reasons why I hate this month in Arizona, I found it hard to think about anything but the dreaded heat. Still, there are some really great things about this month that I enjoy experiencing.

5 Reasons I Love (and 5 Reasons Why I Hate) This Month in Arizona- April

It’s over a week since the start of April and I have yet to publish a post about why I love and hate this month in Arizona. To be honest, April is one of the months I struggle finding both good things and bad things to talk about. It’s not because I don’t have reasons I love and hate Arizona during April. It is because I struggle thinking of reasons that are not area specific! Even though I struggled to think of reasons to list, I decided to write the reasons I don’t like the month even if they are more common and familiar to the area where I live instead ones applicable to of the whole state.

Here are the previous month posts…

5 Reasons I Love (and 5 Reasons Why I Hate) This Month in Arizona- March

It’s March and it’s time for spring to begin! Even though spring begins in the latter half of March (AKA spring solstice), there are so many things to be happy and excited for. Here in Arizona, I love the month of March. It is the time when the weather is still really nice. Flowers are also in bloom and the excitement for Easter is building. Even though I love this month, I also despise, even hate, parts of this month.

Continuing a series of posts I started in January, I compiled a list of five reasons why I love the month of March in Arizona and five reasons why I hate it. You can read the other posts in the series here:
