The Rhythm Cats’ Christmas Show at The Silver Star Theater Review

Earlier this month, I was invited to go to the Silver Star Theater to see the Rhythm Cats’ Christmas Show. The Silver Star Theater is a dinner theater that features a variety of shows ranging from variety shows to covers of well known singers and songwriters as well as genres. The Rhythm Cats Show is what I would consider the star of the Silver Star and is the band that performs the majority of the cover shows. You can read more about the Rhythm Cats Show and the Silver Star Theater at the Silver Star Theater’s website here.

I’ve been to the Silver Star Theater before, but, unfortunately didn’t know the name of the theater I would be going to before the show. (I’m not sure why, but the group that invited me didn’t tell me the name of the theater until I was in the vehicle.) Although I’ve been to the theater before, it’s been a few years so I was excited to go again.

When I arrived at the theater, it looked the way I remembered it. I didn’t think of taking photographs for a post until the announcements stated that photographs could be taken but no video. So, I took out my camera and started taking photographs for my blog.

By the way, this post is not sponsored and my ticket was purchased by the group I went with. (I purchased the tickets to the other Silver Star Theater shows I attended before this one) All the opinions in this post are my own and I do not receive any compensation for this post. 1920’s Inspired Dresses for New Year’s Eve 2020

Even though it’s still Christmas time, it is also a time to look forward to the new year. Next year will be 2020, and mark 100 years since the roaring 20’s began. Although the United States started the 1920’s as a huge party and a time of excessive buying and indulgence, it ended in the start of the Great Depression and left an impact on history in ways we can see much clearly today than 100 years ago. So, if you want to celebrate the start of a new decade of the roaring 20’s by wearing a dress inspired by the fashions of 100 years ago, here are some dresses to inspire your New Year’s Eve party outfit! Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show: What I’ll Miss, What I Won’t, and Why It’s Important

Last month, Victoria’s Secret announced they will not be putting on a fashion show this year. At that time business annalists talk about why they decided to do this, but last year I figured it would be ending sooner rather than later. I did think they would hold out until next year to end the fashion show because it would mean the show would be on for over 15 years and end on the year 2020, a nice year number to end the show. Despite this, costs for the fashion show are very high and the relevance factor has gone away so ending it before any sort of anniversary number arrived was proof the company knew it would be, in my eyes, wasting time and money putting on the show. Since this would be the first year in over 15 years the fashion show will not be on the air, I wanted to talk about what I’ll miss from the fashion show, what I won’t miss, and why it’s important to talk about the end of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. Ornament Feature: 101 Dalmatians Pongo Saves the Day Hallmark Ornament

I’m a huge Disney fan and one of my favorite Disney movies is 101 Dalmatians. I love the animated version as well as the live action movie staring Glen Close. Despite my love of 101 Dalmatians, it’s difficult to find merchandise from the animated movie.

Back in 2011, I discovered Hallmark created an ornament based off 101 Dalmatians. I bought it during the after Christmas sale and love it ever since. Continue reading “Ornament Feature: 101 Dalmatians Pongo Saves the Day Hallmark Ornament” →

Favorite Beauty Gift Sets from Sephora- 2019

Many of my friends (As well as myself) love Christmas time because that’s when beauty brands release gift sets that include products that costs more than the actual gift set. Because of this, I wanted to share my favorite gift sets for the holiday season.

Since some of my favorite sets are exclusive to certain stores, I wanted to split my favorite sets into the stores where they are exclusives or, in the case of other sets that are sold at a variety of stores, the store I saw it or bought it from first. Although I intended to create a post for every store I like to shop at, the only post I had time to finish was about all my favorite gift sets from Sephora.
