In the 2000’s, many movies targeting female teenagers could regularly be seen in movie theaters. Some of the movies were inspired by fairy tales or princesses. Many were not as good as others, but one of my favorites is A Cinderella Story. Recently, YouTube movies posted the movie to watch for free with ads. Music Review- Now That’s What I Call Country Classics 90s (2020)
While recently shopping at Walmart, I wandered into the music and movie section of the store. The music section at the Walmart I shopped at is now tinny compared to the size it used to be when the Walmart opened in the late 1990’s, but most of the music in the section are country music. Country music is probably one of the most popular genres of music in the area, so I wasn’t surprised there was many albums from country music genre. While looking at the CDs, I found a few albums I didn’t own and some I seriously considered buying but never did. One of the albums is Now That’s What I Call Country Classics 90s.
I listened to the Now That’s What I Call Music CDs since they were first introduced back in the late 1990’s, but, thanks to my focus on other things and my own lack of interest in modern day music (Sans a few songs and artists), I stopped buying them and listened to my old CDs. I thought about buying this version of the Now album series, but I ultimately didn’t. After looking at it again, I decided to buy it. Movie Review- Valentine’s Day (2010)
Today is Valentine’s Day and, since to day is Valentine’s Day, I decided to review a romance movie names after today’s holiday, Valentine’s Day.
Valentine’s Day is a 2010 romantic comedy movie written by Kathrine Fugate, Abby Kohn, and Marc Silverson. The movie was directed by Gary Marshall, who is known for working as a director and screen writer from movies and TV shows such as Happy Days and Pretty Woman.
The plot of the movie follows many people throughout one Valentine’s Day. The characters, played by many well known actors and actress such as Julia Roberts, Jamie Foxx, Jessica Alba, Patric Dempsey, Anne Hathaway, and Aston Kutcher to name a few, have different mindsets and frustrations about the day. Everyone’s story is completely related to each others’, but the the stories are related due to the interactions of the characters throughout their day.
Because of this, nobody is specifically a “main character” or “main couple”, but certain characters and their love lives are more prominent than others. The characters’ story that stood out to me as the “main couple” of the movie involves two characters, Reed Bennett (plaid by Aston Kutcher) and Julia Fitzpatrick (plaid by Jennifer Garner) and their love lives. They are also two of the first characters introduced in the movie and the last characters to finally find love.
When I watched Valentine’s Day for the first time in 2010, I didn’t like it. At all. The problem is the story is hard to understand unless you pay close attention to the movie. After watching it several times over the years, it began to make more sense, but it takes time to develop an understanding of the plot, the characters, and how the character’s interaction influences other character’s decisions or the situations they face over the course of the day. Movie Review- When in Rome (2010)
While searching YouTube for something new to watch, I discovered YouTube’s movie channel YouTube Movies had some movies available to watch that are free to view with ads. One of the movies is When in Rome, a romantic comedy staring Kristen Bell and Josh Duhamel with Will Arnett, Alexis Dziena, Jon Heder, Dax Shepard, Danny DeVito, and Anjelica Huston. Since it was available for free, and it was near Valentines Day, I decided to watch it.
When in Rome is about Beth Martin (Kristen Bell), an employee at a museum and a woman disillusioned with love after a bad breakup with her ex the year before. When her sister tells her she is engaged and is getting married in Rome, she travels to Rome to attend and participate in the wedding. 5 Picky Things I Do in the Kitchen to Make My Life Easier
Recently, while washing dishes, I realized I reached for certain things in the kitchen instinctively. I realized this because, when I reached for something, it wasn’t there and I began to panic. Since I depend on certain things in certain places, I realized how picky I am about the placement of those items. Although I’m not picky about the placement of everything in my house, when it comes to the kitchen, I needed certain items fast and in the right place so I won’t burn my food while looking for a certain item.
Even though everyone sets up their kitchen in the way that works best for them, here are five things I do and set my kitchen up that will work best for me.

The Rhythm Cats’ Christmas Show at The Silver Star Theater Review
Earlier this month, I was invited to go to the Silver Star Theater to see the Rhythm Cats’ Christmas Show. The Silver Star Theater is a dinner theater that features a variety of shows ranging from variety shows to covers of well known singers and songwriters as well as genres. The Rhythm Cats Show is what I would consider the star of the Silver Star and is the band that performs the majority of the cover shows. I’ve been to the Silver Star Theater before, but, unfortunately didn’t know the name of the theater I would be going to before the show. (I’m not sure why, but the group that invited me didn’t tell me the name of the theater until I was in the vehicle.) Although I’ve been to the theater before, it’s been a few years so I was excited to go again.
When I arrived at the theater, it looked the way I remembered it. I didn’t think of taking photographs for a post until the announcements stated that photographs could be taken but no video. So, I took out my camera and started taking photographs for my blog.

Target’s 20 Years of Design for All- My Thoughts & Excitement Over Target’s New Collection
On August 15, I received an alert from my Target app that announced Target’s 20 Years of Design for All collection. At first, I wasn’t interested in it because I was working and more focused on other things. But when I looked at the Target app, I realized it was my Target shopping trip dream come true.
If you never heard of the 20 Years of Design for All collection, it is a re-release of some of the limited edition clothes, accessories, and home wear from Target’s designer collaborations collections. In this post on Target’s corporate website, they go into more detail about what the collection is and why it’s so special. Since I’m really excited about this news, I wanted to talk about what about this collection I love, what I don’t like about it (Because I can always find drawbacks to nearly everything), and why Target’s designer partnership is so important to me.
