In Mach, I noticed many brands are releasing new fragrances this spring. After looking at the new releases, I discovered many of the fragrances have fragrance notes I love in my fragrances. Right now I cannot find many of the new releases available in my area (The Ulta Beauty and Sephora in my area are having supply issues, so I need to go to a different Ulta Beauty and Sephora stores further away from where I live) but I made a list of all the fragrances I want to try whenever I find them in store. Valentine’s Day is always a time to buy someone special a nice gift. Because of this, it is also a great time to take advantage of sales or special limited edition gift sets that are not available year long. Even though I love to buy gifts for others, I also like to take advantage of any specials on things I would like to own myself. My favorite item to buy myself is fragrances. I usually like to take advantage of Valentine’s Day specific fragrance gift sets, sales, and reward points. Ulta Beauty Post Christmas Beauty Haul
I know I said I wouldn’t purchase more make up in the beginning of 2020, but I purchased these after Christmas in 2019… so it doesn’t count. 😉
Anyway, after Christmas I knew I spent so much money on beauty products (Make up, skin care, ect.) in 2019 that I knew I would need to take some time off shopping to pay some bills and save money. I was also satisfied with my make up collection so making this decision was fairly easy to make. Despite this, I knew there would be some limited edition Christmas make up and beauty products I wanted to own. Carolina Herrera Good Girl Christmas Gift Set Review
During the Christmas season, I found many fragrance gift sets that caught my eye, but I purchased only a few. The reason is because I do not actually need a new bottle of my favorite fragrances. At that time I wanted to cut back on purchasing so many fragrances and enjoy the ones I already owned. I did make a few exceptions, but for the most part I did not buy as many fragrances as I originally believed I would purchase.
One of the fragrance sets I purchased was Carolina Herrera’s Good Girl. I found the purchased at Ulta while shopping for a gift set of a fragrance I did not have in my collection. At that time, I could not find any gift sets of the fragrances I wanted, but after checking my list I realized I did not look for a gift set of Good Girl. After searching, I found one. Fragrance Wish List for 2019
I know it’s August, but while trying to think up some new post ideas, I realized I never talked about my wish lists for the year. I see them online (Specifically YouTube), but I talked about my wish lists in December 2018 during Blogmas. I don’t always like to talk about my wish lists, but I feel comfrotable to be open about what I like and plan on saving or asking for my birthday, Christmas, and any time I’m asked what I would like to receive as a gift.
Even though there are many topics I could cover for my wish list posts, I wanted to start by talking about all the fragrances I would like to own one day soon.
Favorites from Victoria’s Secret Semi-Annual Sale- Summer 2019
In June 2019, I went to Victoria’s Secret semi-annual sale. I shopped the sale multiple times for myself and for gifts for family and friends. During Sephora’s spring 2018 VIB sale, I picked up a bottle of Yyes Saint Laurent’s Black Opium Nuit Blanche. It was an impulse purchase that, at that time, I was afraid I would later regret. Despite my reservations about making an expensive fragrance an impulse purchase, I was so in love with the scent I decided to try it anyway.

7 Tips for Picking Perfumes for Allergy Suffers
Since I started this blog, I tried to expand my knowledge about beauty as well as get out of my beauty comfort zone. One of the areas I tried to focus on was perfumes. Although I love the smell of perfumes, I hesitated wearing them because I not only suffer from seasonal allergies, but form allergies that are aggravated by the plants and agriculture near where I live.
If you suffer from allergies, you probably already know that you need to avoid products with fragrances. Since my allergies fluctuate depending on the season, I became creative in testing perfumes to see if I would like to wear them when my allergies are not acting up. If you suffer from seasonal allergies or are worried about how to test perfumes without spraying yourself with the perfume, I created a list of seven tips for picking perfumes. This list is not how to make yourself immune to the scents or how to stop your allergies from acting up so you can wear perfumes. This is just seven ways to test fragrances to see if you would like them as well as a tip or two about wearing perfumes so allergy suffers will not suffer more during allergy season.
