5 Fragrances I Like to Buy Myself as a Gift

Valentine’s Day is always a time to buy someone special a nice gift. Because of this, it is also a great time to take advantage of sales or special limited edition gift sets that are not available year long. Even though I love to buy gifts for others, I also like to take advantage of any specials on things I would like to own myself. My favorite item to buy myself is fragrances. I usually like to take advantage of Valentine’s Day specific fragrance gift sets, sales, and reward points. Even though I enjoy buying new fragrances I may enjoy, I have certain favorites that I love to buy whenever I need to restock my fragrance collection. Here are five of my favorite fragrances I like to buy myself as a gift.

Viktor & Rolf Flower Bomb

Flower Bomb is one of my favorite fragrances of all time. It is also one of the few fragrances I used to love in my late teens and early twenties that is still available today and smells like it did when I smelled it for the first tiem. The fragrance is held in what is described as a “luxurious diamond grenade shaped bottle” (Thus the name). The scent family of Flower Bomb is fresh floral, has top notes of cattleya orchid, freesia, and centifolia rose, middle notes of sambac jasmine, and India osmanthus, and base notes of patchouli and vanilla.

Viktor & Rolf Bon Bon

Like it’s cousin Flower Bomb, Bon Bon is a fragrance I loved in my teens and early twenties that I still recognize the scent of today. Bon Bon comes in a bottle that looks like a bow, which is super cute and feminine. The scent type is sweet and has scent notes of mandarin, orange blossom, and caramel.

Burberry Her

Burberry Her is a new fragrance on my go to list of fragrances I like to buy myself, but I really like the scent. It is reminiscent of Bon Bon, but I find Her stronger than Bon Bon. Because of this, I like to have both fragrances so I can switch between the two whenever I need a stronger fragrance or lighter version. The scent type of Her is described as fruity gourmand and the key notes are red and dark berries, jasmine, and musk-amber.

Marc Jacobs Daisy

Marc Jacobs Daisy is one of my favorite fragrances of all time. It’s light, it’s feminine, and it is perfect for a day when you want to smell nice without being very overpowering. The scent type is fruity floral and the scent notes are wild berries, white violet, jasmine, and sandalwood.

Versace Bright Crystal

The final fragrance I like to buy myself as a gift is Versace’s Bright Crystal. The scent notes of Bright Crystal are fruity musk and the key notes are yuzu, iced accord, pomegranate, rose, peony, magnolia, acajou, lotus flower, vegetal amber, and musk.

Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
