It’s the first day of Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty and I’m actually really excited for this year’s spring sale! I found so many things I want to buy or are favorites that I can buy a back up of. Since I have so many I love, I wanted to split my favorites ups into different posts dedicated to which week they’re on sale.

Ulta Beauty Post Christmas Beauty Haul

I know I said I wouldn’t purchase more make up in the beginning of 2020, but I purchased these after Christmas in 2019… so it doesn’t count. 😉

Anyway, after Christmas I knew I spent so much money on beauty products (Make up, skin care, ect.) in 2019 that I knew I would need to take some time off shopping to pay some bills and save money. I was also satisfied with my make up collection so making this decision was fairly easy to make. Despite this, I knew there would be some limited edition Christmas make up and beauty products I wanted to own. During a shopping trip to Ulta in December, I found ColourPop’s make up collaboration with Disney for Frozen 2. I wanted to buy one eye shadow pallet from the collection, but after seeing both the Elsa and Anna pallets I decided to buy both pallets.

What I Got Myself for Christmas 2019

Now that Christmas and New Year’s are over, I think it’s finally safe to admit I’m guilty of buying myself some Christmas gifts this year. Actually I purchased myself more items during the holiday season than I did gifts. Some may read this as being selfish and only thinking of myself this year instead of others, but in truth I actually needed the things I purchased for myself. Plus, most of the items I purchased are seasonal while others came in gift sets and can only be purchased during the holiday season.

After buying things for myself, a few items stood out to me as more “gifts to myself” than things I actually needed. Even though it’s January, I wanted to share all the items I purchased myself that I didn’t need but wanted (and can use) anyway.

It’s November and stores had their Christmas decorations for sale for a month or more. Even though the decorations are widely available in stores, gift sets and other gift oriented items are finally for sale. Because of this, I decided to share my favorite gift sets, starting with beauty advent calendars.
