Movie Review- Hallmark Hall of Fame’s The Love Letter

In the 1990’s, before the Hallmark Channel was the Hallmark Channel, there was the Hallmark Hall of Fame on CBS. I remember watching the Hallmark Hall of Fame movies on Sundays during holiday season, specifically Christmas time. Although there are some movies I really didn’t like, there was a few that stood out to me as my favorites. One of those movies is called The Love Letter.

Although I plan to review Hallmark Channel Christmas movies this year for Blogmas, I wanted to review this movie first because it was the first Hallmark movie I ever saw and is to this day one of my favorite Hallmark movies ever. Sneaking a Peek At Hallmark’s 2020 Ornaments

Earlier this week, I had to go to mall to return some items. While waiting for the stores to open, I walked around the mall to see what’s different and what isn’t. The mall I went to has a Hallmark store inside, so I peeked inside the windows to see what’s there. That’s when I saw the set up for Hallmark’s ornament premiere that would happen later in the week.

The store was closed at that time, so I took a photograph of what ornaments the front of the store had on display and some of the decorations for it…

I didn’t go inside when the store opened, but when I looked through the windows I could see some of the ornaments already on display, but not available for sale.

I’m sad I won’t be able to go to this year’s Ornament Premiere. I decided not to go on Saturday or Sunday because it’s going to be ridiculously hot those days (Saturday will be 116 degrees and Sunday will be 117 degrees) and the earliest the stores will be open is 11 AM. 11 AM is too late in the day to escape at least some of the hot temperatures, so I will shop the event next week when temperatures will be a little bit cooler.

Hallmark Gold Crown Keepsake Ornament Wish List- July 2019

This weekend, Hallmark Gold Crown stores will hold their Ornament Premier Event. Even though I’m not ready to get ready for Christmas (Though I’ve already found some Christmas presents for family & friends), I am excited to go to the Premier Event. I always enjoy shopping for ornaments and get excited to find new ornaments I love and will enjoy for years to come.

Since this is the first weekend the ornaments will be for sale, I decided to make my annual ornament wish list post, only this year it will be a little different. Since Hallmark releases their ornaments in waves, I will be splitting my wish list up to coincide with the different release weekends. This wish list is for the July 2019 releases. Hallmark Gold Crown Ornament Debut Event Weekend Haul 2018

On October 6, 2018, I went to the nearest Hallmark Gold Crown store to me to shop for ornaments. Like the Ornament Premiere event back in July, the store opened early and had exclusive ornaments in limited quantities as well as new ornaments not released in July. I looked forward to shopping the event, but when the day came I ended up not going as early as I wanted. Since I showed up late, I missed the limited quantities ornaments. Despite this, I did find some very nice ornaments!

While preparing for Blogmas, I decided to delay publishing this post until today. That way, I can include it in my Blogmas posts!

2018 Hallmark Gold Crown Keepsake Ornament Premiere Event Haul

Back in July, I went to the Hallmark Gold Crown Keepsake Ornament Premiere. My original plans was to buy some ornaments and maybe take a few photos of what the store looked like (I didn’t do this last year and wish I did not for blogging purposes, but for sentimental reasons), but there was such a large line and so many people in the store I focused on getting the ornaments I wanted and then hurrying out of the store before more people showed up. Even though I was unable to buy everything on my list (They sold out in the first 15 minutes the store was open), I was able to get a few of the ornaments I wanted.

Before I go into talking about the ornaments I purchased, I wanted to apologize for not posting this in July. So many things happened after the Premiere Event that I was unable to take photos of what I purchased. Also, the photos of the ornaments in this post are of the ornament boxes, not the ornaments outside of the boxes like I did last year.
