2018 Hallmark Gold Crown Keepsake Ornament Premiere Event Haul

Back in July, I went to the Hallmark Gold Crown Keepsake Ornament Premiere. My original plans was to buy some ornaments and maybe take a few photos of what the store looked like (I didn’t do this last year and wish I did not for blogging purposes, but for sentimental reasons), but there was such a large line and so many people in the store I focused on getting the ornaments I wanted and then hurrying out of the store before more people showed up. Even though I was unable to buy everything on my list (They sold out in the first 15 minutes the store was open), I was able to get a few of the ornaments I wanted.

Before I go into talking about the ornaments I purchased, I wanted to apologize for not posting this in July. So many things happened after the Premiere Event that I was unable to take photos of what I purchased. Also, the photos of the ornaments in this post are of the ornament boxes, not the ornaments outside of the boxes like I did last year.

Ok! Now onto the ornaments! The two ornaments I purchased are Be Our Guest (Lumiere) and Cogswoth from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast…

When I was at the store, some of the ornaments I wanted and a few of the limited quantities ornaments sold out, but two ornaments that didn’t sell out as fast are Lumiere and Cogsworth. In my ornament wish list post, I mentioned that I believed the Cogsworth ornament would sell out quickly, but I was wrong. Even though I was puzzled by that, I am happy I was able to purchase Cogsworth along with Lumiere at the same time.

The next two ornaments I purchased are Robin and Lady Robin ornaments…

Both ornaments are part of the Beauty of Birds ornament line. The Lady Robin ornament is a limited quantity ornament while Robin is part of the normal line of ornaments. Like with the Clogsworth ornament, I was very surprised Lady Robin was still in stock when I went to the Hallmark store. Last year, the limited run bird ornament sold out in the first hour the store opened and, when I saw the line to check out, I figured I lost my chance to buy Lady Robin. But when the line calmed down and I was able to look at the limited run ornaments, I was very surprised to see Lady Robin was still for sale. I’m so happy I own the matching set.

The next ornament I purchased is Brilliant Butterflies…

Although I like butterflies, I do not normally buy butterfly ornaments. I have found a few over the past few years that I’ve liked, but for the most part I don’t find very many. This ornament caught my eye. The white sections of the wings are ceramic and the gold part of the wings are metal. It is a very nice ornament that I am very happy to add to my tree.

The next ornament I purchased is Classic Box of 8…

When I was growing up, I had an ornament similar to this one. I loved it, but I don’t know where it went. When I saw this one would be for sale, I decided to buy it. I’m so happy I did! Now I can hang it on my Christmas tree and have a Crayola crayons ornament again!

The next ornament I purchased is Bell-Ringer Snoopy…

Although this ornament is cute, I was unsure if I would buy it at the Premiere Event, but when I saw it on display, I decided to buy it.

The last Christmas ornament I purchased is Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer Record Player…

The last Christmas ornament I purchased is a Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer record player. Although I wanted this ornament and mentioned it in my wish list, I intended on not purchasing it until after the ornament Premiere Event to keep myself in my ornament purchasing budget. Since so many of the ornaments I wanted sold out so fast, I decided to buy this one and buy the rest of the ornaments when they are restocked.

The last ornament I purchased is Bewitching Bat…

The very last ornament I purchased was a Halloween ornament called Bewitching Bat. In the past few years, I began to grow my collection of Halloween and fall themed ornaments. I did this with the intention to display them during the fall season. I liked this ornament (It looked so cute in pictures I wanted to add it to my ornament collection!) as well as a Snoopy Halloween ornament, but the Snoopy ornament sold out before I could purchase it. So, I had to settle for just the Bewitching Bat.

That’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
