May 2023 Collective Book Haul

It may be September, but I am still going through and reading all the books I purchased over the past few months. I had originally wanted to write book haul posts about them, but I didn’t get the chance to. Since this it is the very end of summer and the fall/autumn fandom side of social media is talking about reading, I decided to move forward to writing and publishing the old book haul posts I never got around to finishing!

I purchased all the books at Walmart in May. All the books were on sale. I wanted to buy some of the books for a few years, but I never felt the books were in my price range. Since many of the books were on sale, I decided to buy them. Also, the books vary in subject matter.

Some of My Summer Reading Plans for 2023

Well, I think it is official. This summer I will be a homebody. Actually, I shouldn’t say will be. Most likely and probably is more like it. There are several reasons why, but the main reasons include road construction in the area where I live and the hotter weather. Still, I am remaining optimistic about staying home this summer. One of them is that I have more time to read.

I have a very long and lengthy list of books I want to read this summer, but to be realistic, I won’t be able to finish everything on it. Instead, I want to focus on the books I want to read most of all. Even though I have a long reading list, I still want to write a post about some of the books I’m looking forward to reading the most.

February 2023 Book Haul

In February, I purchased several new books to add to my library. Even though I am happy with the books I purchased, I debated if I should purchase as many as I did. I have many books I need to start reading but haven’t. Now that it is March, I decided to take a break from purchasing books. This way, I will have time to read these books and enjoy them!

Books I Read This Month and What I Think of Them- January 2023

It’s almost February and I have no idea where the time gone. Actually, I do, but it still feels weird that February is almost here. During the month of January, I had time to sit down and read books. This is unusual for me because January is one of the busiest times of the year for me work wise. For January 2023, I took time I would normally watch TV and spent it reading books. I didn’t like what was usually on TV anymore, so reading was a great way to spend time enjoying a story a TV will never be able to provide for me.

This month, I read many books. Out of those books, I finished reading three. I considered talking about all the books I read in this post, but, for the sake of not making the post too long, I decided to talk about the three books I finished reading. Some of the Books I Want to Reread in 2023

As I look towards 2023, I realized there a things I want to do and see again. Some of these things include trips to places I began to miss visiting during the pandemic. Others are things I want to do because I enjoyed them that much.

One of the things is rereading certain books. I really enjoyed reading certain books so much I want to read them all over again. In 2023, I picked out a few titles that I want to read again. Unfortunately, my list is long, so I narrowed it down to six books to talk about in a post.

5 Fashion Coffee Table Books to Give as Gifts this Holiday Season

It’s the time of the year when giving gifts are normal. This year, gift giving is more special due to the 2020 pandemic and the social distancing measures to limit the spread of it. Many people will be able to travel more freely than they have in two years, so this holiday season will be the most closet to what was normal in 2019.

Every year, I always love to buy myself a fashion coffee table book. Even though I could ask family and friends to give them to me, they are usually expensive and are hard to find on sale. Also, sometimes the books I think I love I actually hate. In a few cases, I hate them a lot. Because of this, I like to purchase these books for myself to avoid any problems or hurt feelings.

Over the years, I assembled a collection of fashion coffee table books. Some of the books I own are more universally appealing than others and a great gift for fashion lovers. Inspired by this, I decided to write a post about five fashion coffee table books that would make great gifts this season. For this post, I will limit myself to talking about five book only. All the books will be fashion focused, but some by cover a specific designer or fashion house while others will be about a specific person that is known as a fashion icon. Books I Read in September 2022 and What I Think of Them

It is already October and, even though I had a lot of plans for the month, nothing worked out as I hoped. This resulted in me, staying home more than I planned. While at home, I began to work on many things I postponed and needed to get done. In addition to this, I also began reading. A lot.

I love reading, but I haven’t had the time to actually sit down with a book and read. Since I was at home so often, reading began a favorite pastime for me. This is why, during the month of September, I read more books in one month than I have in quite some time.

Since I read so much, I decided to talks about some of the books I read through the month. A handful are ones I finished reading in September while others are ones I started. 5 Books To Enjoy During the End of Summer

It’s August, which means summer is coming to an end. For me, it is still summer by temperature standards, but the schools always start mid July to mid August. Since summer break is over for all the students, it means the time for summer fun is over. Despite this, I have come to realize how many people start school later than in Arizona and how summer is still going for them.

Since I have a different perspective of how summer looks and feels, I wanted to write a post dedicated to five books I feel like I can still read no matter if school is in session or what the outdoors temperature is. All the books on this list are newer books, which to me means they are ten to twenty years old or less. I still love them and usually associate them with the summertime. Book Review: God Bless This Mess by Hannah Brown

For my self-gifted birthday and Christmas present, I decided to purchase myself books I would like to read. One of the books I purchased is God Bless This Mess by Hannah Brown. Hannah Brown was on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, which is why I was curious about the book. I don’t normally buy books by The Bachelor and The Bachelorette contestants, but I remember watching her season of The Bachelorette. So, I purchased the book and read it.
