Christmas Memories- Chanel N°5 Le Film

It’s that time of the year when fragrance commercials pop up on TV and social media ads. Although they are very nice and well put together, there is one commercial I love to this day: Chanel N°5 Le Film

I saw Le Film for the fragrance Chanel N°5 during the Christmas season in 2004. The 2 minutes 2 seconds film stars Nicole Kidman as an actress that runs away from the Hollywood life and falls in love with a man, played by Rodrigo Santoro. If you believe the film has a Moulin Rouge feel to it, you’re right. Baz Luhrmann directed Moulin Rogue as well as this commercial.

Even though the commercial is 14 years old this year, I still look for it on YouTube and watch it during the Christmas/holiday season. To me, it’s the best fragrance commercial I’ve ever seen and it still makes me feel mushy, sentimental, and romantic every time I see it.

It’s that time of the year when bloggers and YouTubers make wish lists for Christmas. Although I have a Christmas wish list, it’s not very long and is full of things I would rather not post online. Because of this, I did not have anything to write a blog post about for Blogmas. So, I decided to talk about 5 luxury items I would like to own one day.

Although I started this list with the intention of naming a variety of luxury items I would like to one day own, the list soon became full of handbags because they are portable, fashionable, and, if I purchase one in a color that will fit in with my wardrobe, is something I can use and enjoy for years. 5 Gift Ideas for New Travelers

If you knew me when I was growing up, you’d know I never made it a secret I wanted to travel when I grew up. When I became an adult, I was unable to travel due to health problems. Since then, I’ve healed a great deal and would like to travel, but I do not have everything I believe I will need to travel with. While searching for travel items in stores, I began to form a list of items I wish I would be given for Christmas, birthdays, or any other special time as a gift.

2018 Gift Wrapping Supplies Collective Haul

Last month, while out shopping, I occasionally purchased supplies for wrapping gifts. I don’t like to purchase gift wrapping supplies so early, but I decided to do it this year because last year it seemed like all the wrapping paper I liked sold out before I could purchase it. So, in order to avoid that, I decided to purchase gift wrapping supplies when I could.

Since I didn’t purchase all the items in this haul at one time in one store, I’m calling this a collective haul of gift wrapping supplies. 5 Goals for December 2018 & Blogmas Begins

Today is December 1st and it is also the first day of Blogmas! I never participated in Blogmas before, mostly because I was too busy to write a lot of posts. This year, I was able to schedule and plan ahead so I could participate in Blogmas! Also, I plan on participating for 31 days instead of 25. I hope I can keep up the post pace while working my day job!

For the first post of blogmas, I decided to list five goals I want to accomplish before December 2018. Most of the goals are part of my Christmas bucket list I did not do because of health complications that developed in late November. Since I’m feeling much better and my health has improved a great deal, I wanted to add them to this list as motivation to check them off my bucket list.
