Earlier this month, I decided to go shopping at Ulta Beauty. I needed beauty products that are unavailable anywhere else in my area. Unfortunately, the Ulta Beauty store I shopped at didn’t have them either. Instead, I wandered around the store until I found three beauty products I wanted.
Even though I purchased three beauty products, I wanted to talk about them in a post. I am very happy I purchased them and cannot wait to start using them!
It’s fall and stores are full of fall products. From decor for Halloween to Thanksgiving, fall is everywhere. This also means that stores will being to start putting out their stocks of Christmas decor. In fact, my closet Walmart is already putting out Christmas decorations!
Since this is the time when stores put out so much seasonal products for purchase, I start to look for and plan to purchase seasonal items. Some of the seasonal items I want to buy are beauty products. I have my eye on specific products and brand holiday collections, so I’m waiting for more information about them. During the 2021 holiday season, Sugar Rush by Tarte released two pallets called Sweet Tarte as part of their holiday collection. I saw them at Ulta Beauty and I wanted them, but I wasn’t sure if I’d like them and use them. After looking at them several times in store, I went to my closet Ulta Beauty and found one of the pallets sold out and there was one left for the other. It was then I decided I should buy the last pallet, which was the Frosted pallet, if I want to own it at all.
After I got it home, I loved the pallet so much I wanted to write a review about it.

When I went shopping at Ulta Beauty shortly before Christmas, I discovered the Too Faced Christmas Around the World gift set was on sale. I really wanted one, but I didn’t purchase one until I saw it on sale. When I saw it on sale, I decided to buy myself a set.

After purchasing the Morphe 35X Big Primin’ Artistry Pallet, I went back and forth if I should boy the accompanying pallet. This pallet, called the 9X Li’l Extra Artistry Pallet, is part of the 2021 holiday collection and has coordinating eye shadow colors to the 35X. After much debate, I decided to buy the pallet. Even though this pallet is sold out at my closest Ulta Beauty, and possibly at other Ulta Beauty stores, I wanted to write a review about it in case anyone finds it for sale.

In late November and early December 2021, I purchased myself makeup as a self gifted birthday and Christmas present. One of my purchases was the Morphe 35x Big Primpn’ Artistry Pallete. The eye shadow pallet is part of Morphe’s 2021 holiday makeup collection. Even though it was available for a limited time, I heard that it was still available at a few Ulta Beauty stores after Christmas. Because of this, there is a small chance the pallet can still be purchased.
Despite this, I debated if I should write a review about the pallet in January. I didn’t want to come off as someone who is flaunting the fact I have the pallet when others didn’t have the chance to purchase the pallet themselves. (It was a very popular pallet at my nearest Ulta Beauty store!) Still, I hope this review will help anyone who is curious about the pallet, my thoughts on it, and if they should consider their search for it.

Continuing with yesterday’s post, I wanted to talk about what else I bought myself for my birthday, which was in November, and for Christmas this year. Even though I purchased myself a lot of gifts, I received many gifts as well. Even though I’m very grateful for my gifts and how thoughtful my family and friends are, I decided to not talk about those gifts online unless there is a good reason to. (Gift and haul posts are not one of those reasons)
All the items in this post are makeup and beauty related. I had my eye on these products for a while and, even though my family and friends would purchase them for me as gifts, they were so hard to come by they couldn’t find them in store or miss purchasing them online. When I found them available at stores I shop at (Which are too far away for my family and friends to frequently shop at), I purchased them for myself. My family and friends are sad I didn’t let them buy these products for me, but they understood I did it because I am worried about them traveling so far away from their home during the pandemic for makeup and beauty products as a gift.

I knew there was a collaboration between I Heart Revolution and the beloved Christmas movie Elf, but I didn’t think there would be enough items from the collection available in store to look at. After two posts dedicated to two gift sets, I decided to dedicate this post to the rest of the Too Faced holiday collection photographs and products I saw at Ulta Beauty. This year’s holiday collection had many products that are holiday themed, but did not necessarily fit in with the Christmas in the City theme Too Faced used for their holiday packaging. This is why, unlike my previous posts about the collection, most of the products with have a holiday theme, but will not have a lot of the Christmas in the City art on the packaging. It’s been a few weeks since Too Faced released their limited edition Christmas gift sets and Christmas packaging, but I didn’t have a chance to see them until recently. I wanted to make an effort to see the sets in person at Ulta Beauty because there is an exclusive gift set sold (at that time) only at Ulta Beauty. Fortunately, there were a few left at the Ulta Beauty closest to where I live. I was able to take some photographs of the pallet on display as well as the display for it at the store.
When I took these photographs, Ulta Beauty was the exclusive seller of the gift set. Since then, Too Faced added the set to the Christmas shop section of it’s website.
