The Rhythm Cats’ Christmas Show at The Silver Star Theater Review

Earlier this month, I was invited to go to the Silver Star Theater to see the Rhythm Cats’ Christmas Show. The Silver Star Theater is a dinner theater that features a variety of shows ranging from variety shows to covers of well known singers and songwriters as well as genres. The Rhythm Cats Show is what I would consider the star of the Silver Star and is the band that performs the majority of the cover shows. I’ve been to the Silver Star Theater before, but, unfortunately didn’t know the name of the theater I would be going to before the show. (I’m not sure why, but the group that invited me didn’t tell me the name of the theater until I was in the vehicle.) Although I’ve been to the theater before, it’s been a few years so I was excited to go again.

When I arrived at the theater, it looked the way I remembered it. I didn’t think of taking photographs for a post until the announcements stated that photographs could be taken but no video. So, I took out my camera and started taking photographs for my blog.

It’s the day after Mermorial day, which means it’s summer travel season! Summertime is the time to travel and, even though I won’t be traveling anywhere (Subject to change), I think about where I would like to travel to if I knew I would be going somewhere. 6 Tips for Going to the Arizona Renaissance Festival

I’ve attended the festival every year since 2010 and a few years I had the season pass. After going so often, I learned some things about the festival, how to save money, and when the best times to go are. Since the festival starts this week, I wanted to share what I know so if anyone goes, they can enjoy it as well. I’ve attended the Arizona Renaissance Festival only, so I cannot say if these tips will help others while attending other festivals, but I hope they will give some ideas to make going to a festival less stressful.

Although I love traveling, I was unable to travel very far this year for a variety of reasons. Exploring Arizona- Boyce Thompson Arboretum

I’m so happy I get to write this post because I’ve wanted to travel more often. This is actually one of the reasons why I created this blog, to force myself (Or take the initiative) to travel. I was unable to go anywhere because of the weather and my normal job kept me busy, but on October 22, 2017, I went to the Boyce Thompson Arboretum!

The Boyce Thompson Arboretum is located outside of Superior, Arizona. The arboretum was established in the 1920’s and is the oldest and largest arboretums in the state of Arizona. There are hiking trails in the park along with gardens with different themes.

I’ve been to this arboretum quite a lot when I was younger, but it’s been so many years since I’ve been there that I don’t remember much about it. Because of this, on this trip I decided to take less photos I would have normally would have. That way I could explore the arboretum and enjoy it more than obsessively taking great photos. I did take many photos that I’m proud of, but for the most part I would walk around and think “This cactus/trail/mountain/building looks familiar to me but I don’t remember why.” I plan on going back one day, but I think I’ll end up not taking many photos again just so I could try remember it at a slower pace.
