Essie Nail Polish- Baguette Me Not
Earlier this month, I tried out one of my new Essie nail polishes. The color I tried was Baguette Me Not.
I really liked the color. It’s a light lavender color and it complements my skin color really nice. It took two coats to make the color opaque, but, unlike the other Essie nail polishes I own, I liked how smooth the polish went on my nails. I enjoyed wearing it and liked the color lavender for my nails during the summer time.
Although I really like the color, I am looking forward to trying the second color I purchased.

Essie Spring Nail Polish- Tiers of Joy
A week or so after painting my nails with Essie’s limited edition spring collection A Touch of Sugar, my nail polish wore off so badly I needed to either repaint them with the same color, or take off the color and paint my nails with a different color. I decided to paint my nails a different color. The color I picked was the second nail polish color I picked up in Essie’s limited edition spring collection: Tiers of Joy.
I really love this nail color! The color is a mix of purple and mint green that shifts depending on how the light hits it.
I do not have anything like this color in my nail polish collection, so I’m happy to have it.

Essie Spring Nail Polish- A Touch of Sugar
Earlier this spring, I decided to paint my nails. Since I had my new Essie limited edition spring nail polish, I decided to give it a try to see if I liked the color.
Sorry about the washed out photo. I took it in sunlight to show the colors better, but it didn’t work out as well as I thought!
The nail polish is a light rose pink base color with gold flecks in it. I do not own pink nail polish with gold flecks in it, so it’s a great addition to my nail polish collection.
Also, the pink is has a blue undertone and is not a peach pink. Pinks with blue undertones to it looks best on me, so this nail polish is perfect for me and my skin tone.

March 2019 Beauty Favorites
March was a funny month for me. Between being busy with my day job, recovering from a virus, and personal life stuff, I didn’t have the time to try many beauty products. Because of this, I do not have many new beauty favorites to talk about in this post. Essie Vanity Forest Nail Polish
I’m a huge fan of light pink nail polish because it complements my skin color very well. Also, it adds some color to my nails while looking natural. I heard great things about Essie’s nail polish color Ballet Slippers so, while on a shopping trip to Target, I decided to look for a bottle and pick one up.

Dior’s Diorific Vernis Nail Polish- Lovely
Last week, I talked about Dior’s Diorific Vernis Nail Polish in the color Audace. When I placed my order to Macy’s for Dior beauty products, I also ordered a second polish in the same nail polish line but in the color Lovely.
In case you’re wondering, yes I did take the photo of the nail polish bottle outside. I did this because the lighting is better than in my normal photography set up. And yes, that is me and the yard in the bottle’s reflection.
Just like the color Audace, Lovely is a color not available in Dior’s normal nail polish lines. Instead, this color was part of Dior’s 2018 holiday collection. Between Audace and Lovely, Lovely is the color I wish was part of Dior’s nail polish lines instead of being limited edition. It is a very pretty metallic rose pink with silver flecks in it. I’m sure that there are many who would love to use this color as an everyday nail polish color instead of using it for a seasonal color only.
I really love the color but, like with Audace, Lovely requires two coats in order to make the color opaque enough to block out my normal nail color. Although it needs two coats, I found that, since my nails match the pink tone of the polish, it was ok if the polish did not completely block out my nail color.

Dior’s Diorific Vernis Nail Polish- Audace
In my January 2019 Macy’s Dior haul, I mention I purchased Dior’s Diorific Vernis nail polish in the color Audance. The color is not part of Dior’s normal nail polish line, but is a limited edition color for the 2018 holiday collection.
In case you’re wondering, yes I did take the photo of the nail polish bottle outside. I did this because the lighting is better than in my normal photography set up. And yes, that is me and the yard in the bottle’s reflection.
I picked this color because I wanted a new berry/burgundy colored polish. At first I was unsure if it would work because I never used a Dior polish before, but after painting my nails for the first time I was very happy with the result.
I love the color, but I did need to apply two coats to make the polish opaque enough to block out my normal nail color underneath.
Overall, I’m happy with this polish. Although it’s my first time using a Dior nail polish, I’m very happy with it and look forward to purchasing more once I have the money to do it.
