Last month, while shopping at Ulta Beauty, I saw the Orly x Lisa Frank collection. It was located on an end cap near the nail polish section. I was so excited to see it that I took photographs of it. It’s the time of the year to buy Christmas makeup gift sets and great excuse to buy makeup to try out. Buying myself makeup gift sets is how I discovered some of my favorite Dior Beauty products. Dior is, of course, not affordable for everyone and I need to be careful how many items I buy at one time so I won’t spend more money than I allow myself to. Despite this, I have some make up and beauty favorites that, if I need to replace it, I tend to look at those items first before I search for anything else from Dior.
Recently, while shopping recent makeup and beauty sales, I discovered some of my favorites on sale. Although I didn’t buy back up of them during the sales because I’m happy with the number of backups I have, I thought it may be fun to list my favorite makeup and beauty items from Dior. Although they are pricey, I am happy with the quality of the makeup and beauty items on my favorites list and I hope that, if anyone wants to try new make up, they could start with one of my favorites.

While browsing the book section of Dollar Tree, I found InStyle Ultimate Beauty Secrets. The book is by the editors of InStyle magazine and is supposed to serve as an ultimate guide for using make up, the best skincare for you skin type, and other beauty related need-to-know information. Since I bought it at the Dollar Tree, it cost only $1 USD, so I felt comfortable buying it, reading it, and, if I didn’t like it, I could donate it.

A few weeks ago, I discovered Ulta Beauty released a collaboration with Harry Potter made up of make up and accessories inspired by Harry Potter. The official collection is available online and in store as of this post. There are many products to choose from and, after buying and enjoying most of the make up and accessory products from Ulta Beauty’s collaboration with Marvel for the Endgame movie release, I’m very curious to see this collection as well.

Well, I’m a few days late to write a post about this, but like with Macy’s, Target is currently having their own beauty sale coinciding with Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty event. The Target sale will last two weeks and has new deals every day. I originally wanted to write a post sharing my favorites, but with the Coronavirus going on, there was so much going on in my life I didn’t have the time nor energy to write a post. It’s November and stores had their Christmas decorations for sale for a month or more. Even though the decorations are widely available in stores, gift sets and other gift oriented items are finally for sale.
