Last week, I talked about Dior’s Diorific Vernis Nail Polish in the color Audace. When I placed my order to Macy’s for Dior beauty products, I also ordered a second polish in the same nail polish line but in the color Lovely.
In case you’re wondering, yes I did take the photo of the nail polish bottle outside. I did this because the lighting is better than in my normal photography set up. And yes, that is me and the yard in the bottle’s reflection.
Just like the color Audace, Lovely is a color not available in Dior’s normal nail polish lines. Instead, this color was part of Dior’s 2018 holiday collection. Between Audace and Lovely, Lovely is the color I wish was part of Dior’s nail polish lines instead of being limited edition. It is a very pretty metallic rose pink with silver flecks in it. I’m sure that there are many who would love to use this color as an everyday nail polish color instead of using it for a seasonal color only.
I really love the color but, like with Audace, Lovely requires two coats in order to make the color opaque enough to block out my normal nail color. Although it needs two coats, I found that, since my nails match the pink tone of the polish, it was ok if the polish did not completely block out my nail color.
