November in Arizona is a special month. It considered by many to be the start of Arizona’s tourism season. (Some say tourism season is October to April while others say November to April) People travel to the state to see the state in it’s beauty without the oppressive heat.
During this time, there are so many things to do and see that it may be hard to imagine anything is bad about the state. As a lifelong resident of Arizona, I can honestly say that there are some Novembers that are good while others are not. Yet, while enjoying the state during it’s best weather months can make it look convincingly perfect when it really is not.
Inspired by my sometimes love/hate relationship with the state I’ve called home my whole life, I decided to write a list of five reasons why I like Arizona during November and five reasons why I don’t.
