Marshall’s Beauty Haul- October 2022

Earlier this month, I went shopping at Marshall’s for some new toothbrushes. I don’t normally shop at Marshall’s for toothbrushes, but I wanted some to clean with. My search for toothbrushes lead me to the beauty section. I did find the toothbrushes I wanted, but I had some more time to waste. So, I stuck around and browsed what they had.

I doubted if I would find whatever I wanted and needed there, but I did! I was surprised by the amount of products I walked out of the store with. The Marshall’s I shopped at usually does not have beauty products I want or need, thus why I was so surprised. Since I was surprised I would find so many products I could use, I wanted to write a Marshall’s beauty haul about all the items I purchased during that shopping trip. Favorite Ulta Beauty Exclusive Holiday Products & Gift Sets- 2021

October and November are normally the time when the store exclusive holiday gift sets are available to purchase. After searching through Sephora and Ulta Beauty for exclusive holiday gift sets each store sells, I found some gift sets and store exclusive products that caught my eye. I wanted to start talking about my favorite store exclusive products with Ulta Beauty.

Ulta Beauty’s store exclusive make up gift sets didn’t really catch my eye (I’m judging the gift sets on if I will probably buy them for personal use or give as a gift) but I did find some fragrance gift sets of fragrances I’m interested in buying. Hot Tools Iconic Turbo Hair Dryer Review

Earlier this year, I found a Hot Tools dryer on sale at Walmart. I needed a new hair dryer, so I bought it. After I brought it home, I began to use it right away. Since I owned this hair dyer for so long, I wanted to combine an unboxing and review post into one.

Hot Tools Deep Waver Unboxing

When I bought my Hot Tools flat iron at Ulta Beauty, there was a buy one get one free deal on all Hot Tools stylers. I had two choices: A travel flat iron and a deep waver. I always wanted a deep waver, so I picked it.

Although I wanted the deep waver more than the travel flat iron, I also knew I wouldn’t be able to use it until the later half of this year. In late 2019, I cut my hair short. I like keeping my hair long, but my hair was damaged from being sick with an antibiotic resistant infection. (I talk more about it in a post on my art blog. You can read the post here.) Although I tried to help rebuild my hair by using shampoos, conditioners, and supplements prescribed by my doctor, my hair was too damaged and it needed to be cut.

Hot Tools 1 Inch Curling Iron

In November 2019, I went shopping in JcPenny’s to see if there is anything I would like to buy, but I also wanted to look for a new flat iron. I didn’t find a new flat iron that day, but I did find a Hot Tools 1 inch curling iron. I wanted a curling iron with a 1 inch barrel for a few years, but couldn’t decide which one I wanted to buy. Last year, I needed a new hair straightener. I finally settled on buying a Hot Tools hair straightener but, while shopping, I found more hair styling tools on sale that I needed or will need in the future. Since they were on sale, I decided to buy them as well.
