Hot Tools 1 Inch Curling Iron

In November 2019, I went shopping in JcPenny’s to see if there is anything I would like to buy, but I also wanted to look for a new flat iron. I didn’t find a new flat iron that day, but I did find a Hot Tools 1 inch curling iron. I wanted a curling iron with a 1 inch barrel for a few years, but couldn’t decide which one I wanted to buy. I had recently decided to try Hot Tools’ curling iron, so when I saw it was on sale for over 50% off, I bought it.The box the curling iron came in looks like this from the front…

Although what finally convinced me to buy this curling iron was the price, I wanted to buy this curling iron for other reasons. The barrel is 1 inch, but there are other curling irons from Hot Tools that are smaller or bigger than 1 inch. The day I bought this curling iron, JcPenny’s had other Hot Tools curling irons in smaller and bigger sizes, but I bought the 1 inch size because it was a good in between size for the kind of hair styles I wanted to use a curling iron for. Also, this curling iron’s barrel is plated with 24k gold. I never tried a hair styling tool with gold plating on it, so I’m excited to try it out. And finally, the curling iron handle is pink! Although my favorite color is pink, but I like lighter pinks more than brighter pinks. Because of this, I wanted to buy the curling iron with a black handle. Even though I wanted to buy a black handle curling iron, the JcPenny’s had only pink handled curling irons. Although I was originally unsure if I would like the color, it’s grown on me and I now really like it.
