Favorite Spring Dresses for 2019

Spring is in full swing and I’ve enjoyed shopping for new spring clothes. This year, stores are carrying dresses and tops I love to wear in colors I searched for years for. Since I love this year’s spring trends, I decided to share some of my favorite spring dresses for 2019. All the dresses in this post are from Dillard’s because I found so many cute spring clothes there and wanted to share them. Continue reading “Favorite Spring Dresses for 2019” →

Favorite Prom Dresses for 2019- JcPenny’s

It’s May and, although it’s the end of prom season, I still have one post left in my series of favorite prom dress posts. Although most schools hold their proms in April, when I was in high school, my senior prom was held in May. Because of this, I still think about May as part of prom season, even though others do not.

The last store I’m featuring my favorite prom dresses from is JcPenny’s. At the time of this post’s publishing, I believe most of the sizes the dresses come in are sold out, but I still wanted to show them as a reference. Continue reading “Favorite Prom Dresses for 2019- JcPenny’s” →

Favorite Prom Dresses for 2019- Macy’s

This is week two of my favorite prom dress posts and so far I’m very impressed with the dresses that are out this year. Last year, I felt very uninspired by the prom dress. They looked like the ones from the previous year and didn’t vary in bright, spring colors. This year, there was a balance between spring colors as well as dark colors and the designs are similar but different from last year’s. One of the stores I was most impress with prom dress wise is Macy’s.

Since I’m devoting a favorite prom dress post to one store each post, I wanted to share some of my favorite prom dresses that I saw in person and loved at Macy’s. Continue reading “Favorite Prom Dresses for 2019- Macy’s” →

Favorite Prom Dresses for 2019- Dillard’s

It’s that time of the year when prom dresses are in department stores. I’m way past my high school days, so there is no reason to look at the prom dresses except to ooo and ahh over them. I’m a sucker for pretty dresses, especially formal dresses, so I wanted to share my favorite prom dresses for 2019.

Since I loved so many dresses, I decided to dedicate posts for each store I either walked into and saw dresses at or saw while online shopping. The first store I wanted to feature prom dresses from is Dillard’s. Dillard’s department store holds a special place in my prom and formal dress loving heart because back when I was in high school, I got my prom dress from Dillard’s. Because of this, I decided to start my favorite prom dress posts featuring dresses found on Dillard’s website.

In addition to photos of each dress, I’m giving the name of the dress as well as the price of each dress. Continue reading “Favorite Prom Dresses for 2019- Dillard’s” →

Favorite Easter Dresses for 2019

Easter is this Sunday and to celebrate, I’m sharing my favorite dresses that would be great for an Easter brunch or for a church service. (Depending on what church you go to!)

It was hard to pick my favorite dresses because I saw so many that I loved. I was able to narrow my list down to five, but there are still so many that I love that I did not include on this list. As with my previous favorite fashion posts, nothing on this post is sponsored and, as of the publishing of this post, is still available for purchase at the stores I found the dresses at. Favorite Spring 2019 Trends

Spring is here! I’m happy the calendar says it’s officially spring, but here in Arizona Spring weather comes early and is the sign hot summer weather is on it’s way. To celebrate spring’s arrival, and to keep my mind off the hot summer weather, I wanted to share my favorite Spring 2019 trends.

Disclaimer: None of the products in this post are sponsored. They are used in this post to show what my favorite trends are and to give ideas and inspiration. I found all the products in this post at Dillard’s department store website. Continue reading “Favorite Spring 2019 Trends” →

Kohl’s After Christmas 2018 Haul

Even though it’s nearing the end of January (Where did the time go?!) I wanted to do an after Christmas haul from Kohl’s. I pondered if I should finish this haul post because it’s so long after Christmas, but I decided to finish it anyway in hopes someone will enjoy it.

Favorite Runway Looks- Zuhair Murad Fall 2018 Couture

It’s the last Wednesday of Blogmas and I feel sad that my series of my favorite couture runway looks from fall/winter 2018 is ending. I really enjoyed talking about my favorite runway looks and I would like to continue posting about them in the future… only without ball gowns and Christmas parties in mind!

For the last runway post of Blogmas 2018, I wanted to feature another Lebanese designer I really like: Zuhair Murad. His designs are similar to Elie Saab’s (Rich embroidery, delicate feminine designs) but his style is different. So, for today’s post I wanted to share my favorite looks from Zuhair Murad’s fall 2018 couture collection. Continue reading “Favorite Runway Looks- Zuhair Murad Fall 2018 Couture” →

2018 Holiday Shop With Me- JcPenny’s

Last week, on a whim and encouragement from a sale, I went shopping at JcPenny’s and Dillard’s. Since this is Blogmas, I decided to take some photos while I shopped to show what I saw in the stores as well as what I found in stores. After I edited the photos and began writing the post, I realized I had so many photos that I could write two posts dedicated to each store. Since JcPenny’s was the first store I stopped at, I’m writing my shopping adventures there first.

Favorite Runway Looks- Givenchy Fall 2018 Couture

It’s Wednesday again and that means another favorite runway looks for fall/winter 2018. Although I have multiple designers’ fall/winter runway looks I wanted to feature in today’s post, I picked Givenchy.

I’ve known about Givenchy for years. Even though I favor Christian Dior, Hubert de Givenchy’s designs from the 1050’s are my second favorite. This year, Givenchy drew worldwide attention after the royal wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex as the designer the Duchess’ wedding dress. Because of the renewed interest in the house of Givenchy, I wanted to find my favorite looks from Givenchy’s fall 2018 couture collection.
