Spring is here! I’m happy the calendar says it’s officially spring, but here in Arizona Spring weather comes early and is the sign hot summer weather is on it’s way. To celebrate spring’s arrival, and to keep my mind off the hot summer weather, I wanted to share my favorite Spring 2019 trends.

Wrap Dresses and Shirts
Two years ago, when I started to see wrap dresses and shirts in stores for Spring, I didn’t like the trend, but since then wrap dresses and shirts grew on me. They are back for this Spring, which makes me happy because that means I could possibly find one that fits me!
Although I like wrap shirts more than dresses, I really liked this off the shoulder wrap dress from O’Neill…
O’Neill Connie Floral Off the Shoulder Midi Wrap Dress- $64.00 USD
I like floral prints, but I have a hard time finding prints that are in the colors I want. I like to wear softer, feminine floral prints and not so much the couch floral prints. (I still like to look at them though!) This year, I see more feminine prints with pastel colors, which makes me happy! One of my favorite dresses I saw this year is this Calvin Klein dress…
Calvin Klein Floral Print Belted Handkerchief Hem A-Line Midi Dress- $139.50 USD
I miss block heels. I love the look of stiletto heels, but when it comes to wearing them, I hate them. I like having a wider area to balance on and hoped the block heel trend would come back. Block heels became a trend last year but it wasn’t until late last year that I saw shoes I really liked. Block heels are still a trend for Spring, which makes me very happy because now I can find shoes in pastel colors.
After browsing for a pair of shoes to share in this post, I found a lot of metallic and jewel heels for prom season. Because of this, I decided to share these rhinestone Steve Madden heels…
The straw bag trend is back and I love this year’s bag styles. Although straw bags was a trend in Spring 2018, I didn’t like the style of the bags. They didn’t suit my lifestyle and they looked as though they would not hold all the items I wanted to carry. This year, the bags are in a style and size that would fit all the items I want to carry.
While browsing for straw bags, I found this Sakroots bag. It caught my eye because it is a combination of fabric and straw. It would be a great bag for anyone who wants to dip their toe in the trend, but didn’t want a bag made completely out of straw.
