Dillard’s Prom Dresses In Store Photographs 2022

Well, this is the last post featuring the prom dresses I took pictures of during a shopping trip to the mall. The mall I went to had three stores that sold dresses that are designated prom dresses. They include JcPenny’s and Macy’s. The third and final store was Dillards.

Back when I was a teenager, Dillards was always the store to go to if you wanted a prom dress. The dresses would always look pretty and have the most unique styles and designs. This year, I found many prom dresses available in a wide variety of colors. (It helped that I looked in early March) Even though there are many dresses, and I took many photographs of them for friends of mine that have daughters going to prom this year, I didn’t want to overload this post with photographs of dresses. Macy’s Prom Dress In Store Photographs 2022

After browsing JcPenny’s prom dress section, I went to Macy’s. At the mall I went to (and was shopping at that day), Macy’s, JcPenny, and Dillard’s department stores are located in the same mall. It’s just a matter of walking around the mall to get from store to store. After I arrived at Macy’s, I had a little trouble trying to find the prom dresses. The Junior’s section is where they used to be located, but this year they were moved to the women’s section.

This year’s selection of dresses is far larger than in previous years. I was surprised by the amount of dresses available for sale this year. I think the store wanted to stock more dresses this year because of the fact that this year is the first year since the start of the pandemic when people are allowed to be in close proximity with each other. Also, many schools are allowing prom to take place in the same way it did prior to the pandemic.

Prom season is back! This year’s prom season is an exciting one for me because a handful of my friends have children old enough to go to prom! Because of this, when I did my annual prom dress window shopping, I tried to keep an eye out for anything my friends and their children would like. Of course, I took photographs of the dresses for posts and just in case any of my friends want to see the collections available in stores.

One of the stores I wanted to look at was JcPenny’s. I wanted to see what kind of selection they have in store. I didn’t know if they would have many dresses available, but it does vary depending on the store. The store I went to didn’t have as much as I hoped, but the dresses that were available are very pretty. Still, I’m very happy with kind of dresses available at the store. 5 Homecoming Dress Trends for 2021

This week is my local high school’s homecoming and I feel very inspired to talk about homecoming dresses. This year, homecoming dances have returned and so have the dresses to buy and wear to them. For the past few months, I didn’t get out of the house much but I have been looking at my favorite department stores websites to see what kind of dresses they are selling this year for homecoming.

After seeing the prom dresses at Macy’s and Dillard’s, I decided to go to JcPenny’s to see what kind of prom dresses they had for 2021. I had trouble finding a JcPenny’s that had prom dresses though, so it took me a while to find a JcPenny’s that had prom dresses in store. I did find a store with dresses, but the JcPenny’s didn’t have nearly as many dresses as Macy’s and Dillard’s. Even though the store did not have many dresses to see in person, I still found a few that I liked. I also was able to take photographs of the dresses in store. Recently, I went to the mall for fun, return some items, and to window shop. While at Macy’s, I discovered the prom section is open in the Junior’s department. I didn’t look at prom dresses last year because of the pandemic. Not looking at the prom dresses made me sad. Even though I’m way beyond high school age, seeing the new dresses and what is now trendy for teenagers is always a highlight for me every spring.

At the Macy’s I went to, there were two mannequins at the front of the prom section. Beside the mannequins was a shelf full of formal handbags and shoes that would be appropriate for prom…

Favorite Prom Dresses for 2019- JcPenny’s

It’s May and, although it’s the end of prom season, I still have one post left in my series of favorite prom dress posts. Although most schools hold their proms in April, when I was in high school, my senior prom was held in May. Because of this, I still think about May as part of prom season, even though others do not.

Favorite Prom Dresses for 2019- Macy’s

This is week two of my favorite prom dress posts and so far I’m very impressed with the dresses that are out this year. Last year, I felt very uninspired by the prom dress. They looked like the ones from the previous year and didn’t vary in bright, spring colors. This year, there was a balance between spring colors as well as dark colors and the designs are similar but different from last year’s. One of the stores I was most impress with prom dress wise is Macy’s.

Favorite Prom Dresses for 2019- Dillard’s

It’s that time of the year when prom dresses are in department stores. I’m way past my high school days, so there is no reason to look at the prom dresses except to ooo and ahh over them. I’m a sucker for pretty dresses, especially formal dresses, so I wanted to share my favorite prom dresses for 2019.

Since I loved so many dresses, I decided to dedicate posts for each store I either walked into and saw dresses at or saw while online shopping. The first store I wanted to feature prom dresses from is Dillard’s. Dillard’s department store holds a special place in my prom and formal dress loving heart because back when I was in high school, I got my prom dress from Dillard’s. Because of this, I decided to start my favorite prom dress posts featuring dresses found on Dillard’s website.
