Dillard’s Prom Dresses In Store Photographs 2022

Well, this is the last post featuring the prom dresses I took pictures of during a shopping trip to the mall. The mall I went to had three stores that sold dresses that are designated prom dresses. They include JcPenny’s and Macy’s. The third and final store was Dillards.

Back when I was a teenager, Dillards was always the store to go to if you wanted a prom dress. The dresses would always look pretty and have the most unique styles and designs. This year, I found many prom dresses available in a wide variety of colors. (It helped that I looked in early March) Even though there are many dresses, and I took many photographs of them for friends of mine that have daughters going to prom this year, I didn’t want to overload this post with photographs of dresses. Still, there are a lot of photographs in this post. So, here is the last in store photograph prom dress post for 2022!

The prom dress section was located in the Junior’s section of the store. This Dillard’s store has an area dedicated to put out displays and special collections. For prom season, this section is always dedicated to prom. Sometimes, the store decorates the section with elaborate prom inspired decorations. This year, the section was not decorated in previous years, but it was packed with prom dresses on racks.

The display looked like this…

The the middle of the racks of dresses, there were three mannequins dressed in dresses available to purchase…

The dresses on the mannequins were available to purchase on the racks nearby the mannequins…

As well as dresses that might catch the eye of teenage girls (Or teenage girls at heart) first. Including these pretty purple dresses…

The lavender dress was so pretty. Unfortunately, the store lighting didn’t work with me and I could take a photograph of the bodice very well…

I hope you can still see how pretty the dress actually is!

Purple was a popular color this year…

As well as other colors of dresses…

(The dress on the right is very pretty!)

Blue is a common color for prom dresses this year…

As well as dark colors…

The black dress on the right caught my eye because of it’s style. It reminds me of the costumes from Bridgerton or movies and series based off Jane Austen novels. It’s not 100% historically accurate, but it had the same seam lines and style of sleeves the dresses would normally have. I think of it as a 2022 prom version of the Regency dresses…

That dress was the only dress in that style available at the store. I thought it would look pretty if it was in a different color that black. Still, it was a simple yet pretty dress.

Here are a few more pretty dresses from the main display…

Further in the prom dress section is another mannequin display. This display had three mannequins wearing prom dresses and formal crossbody bags.

The dresses near the display include this red sparkly dress…

The bodice is beautiful…

As well as the back…

The only complaint I can see about this dress is how rough and itchy the fabric is. It may irritate the wearer’s skin if they brush against the dress and the fabric.

A dress with less rough yet pretty fabric is this green dress with beautiful sequin design on it…

Closeup of the bodice…

Mint was a popular color in dresses this year. I really like the shade of min this dress is…

More green dresses…

As well as red and black dresses…

As well as white dresses. There were two white dresses made out of the same fabric. This is the first…

This is the second…

Here are a few of the dresses that came in different colors than blue, green, and lavender

Well, that’s all for now! Thank you for reading!
