2017 Fall Decor Haul

Fall and winter are by far my favorite time of the year. It’s when Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years happen in three months, the weather cools off (Especially nice because it means Arizona’s desert heat is coming to an end), and my birthday is in November!

Last year, I had a family health emergency that distracted me from buying fall decor that I had my eye on or enjoying the season as much as I normally do. This year, I made the decision to purchase decor that I liked but never purchased. I was able to find and purchase most of the things I wanted to buy, plus a few other things that I found along the way.

One of the first things I bought this year was a sign from TJ Max.

There seemed to be a lot of witch themed signs this year. Even though I think they are cute, nothing seemed to strike my fancy or looked like something I wanted to have on display in my house. Until I saw this one.

I love this sign. It makes me think of Glinda the Good from The Wizard of Oz and Wicked, which is right up my alley. I wanted to be Glinda for Halloween as a girl and, as a Wicked soundtrack obsessed teenager, I bought a tiara on ebay that was as close to Glinda’s tiara in the stage musical. So, once I saw the sign, I knew I needed to own it.

The second thing I bought is two white pumpkins from Target…

I wanted to buy a few small pumpkins for decor since last year. I shopped different places for these pumpkins, but I liked the ones at Target the best. I do not plan on buying any other pumpkins this year (Except maybe a real one, but I’m still not 100% sure about that) but I hope to buy a few more next year.

Another Fall decor item I got from Target is this sign from the Dollar Stop…

I’m not a huge fan of scary or horror Halloween decorations, so finding Halloween decorations that fit my taste is very hard to find. I saw on a Youtuber’s Fall/Halloween decor shopping video a very cute sign in the Dollar Stop of Target that I wanted, so I went to look for it at Target. Unfortunately, I did not find the sign, but I did find this one.

It’s very cute and I have the perfect spot for it. The glass in the sign is not real glass, but plastic which makes me happy because I was afraid I’d break it. Also, it was $3 USD, which makes me even more happy!

The last fall decor item I bought are these fake pumpkins…

These pumpkins are from Target and cost $6 USD for the set of eight. They had different colors and designs to select from, but I decided to buy the fall colored versions without glitter.

I really love the size of these pumpkins. They are small and perfect for decorating around my house. I would like to go back to Target and buy some more, but I’m not sure if I’ll have the room for more pumpkins this year.

Well, that’s all I have to show that I bought for fall decor this year. I did not see a lot of things for sale that I wanted that I already had in some form or another. So, it was a small decor haul for me this year.
